Mylorah giggled as the presence joyously swooped around inside her mind. She thought it would be a curious little thing but it seemed to know what it was interested in as it latched onto her recent thoughts and seemed to approve. She wasn’t one for needing approval from others but sometimes it was nice and right then, she loved how this dragonet appreciated having fun and simply living. She tried thinking about some of the other things she got into and even did her best to bring up memories of her Sir Tazicurls and Fetch to go along with the bronzeriders it seemed fond of.
But the whirlwind of a presence vanished before she could truly share much about those men and Mylorah sighed with a small smile. No matter. While she hadn’t believed the dragonets remembered their interactions from the Touching, she did still hope it left the dragonet in good spirits and gave them something to recall and occupy themselves with. Surely it had to be boring within the shell, though perhaps they were sleeping? It would make sense given the lack of recalling these moments.
She was thinking too hard on how it all worked instead of simply enjoying the moment. Mylorah chided herself as she continued toward another egg. No one knew how these things worked or why they did it but it was fun and that was the important part. Well, usually fun. Sometimes terrible memories or self-doubt were brought to light but so long as they weren’t as nightmarish as what happened at Thallyath’s maiden clutch, Mylorah didn’t overly mind those moments either.
But just to be safe, she cleared her mind, banishing such negative thoughts as she reached out for the next.
