After a few awkward initial throws, and some really good coaching (that involved Lazerat being so delightfully close to show him how to hold the dart properly), Zoremet was at least able to hit the board most of the time. There was something satisfying about the solid sounding thunk that accompanied a good hit from the dart and he found himself actually trying to make his form decent enough to keep getting that sound over and over again.
When he finally got all three darts to stick he couldn't help but let out a cheer which quickly turned into a much more subdued and bashful giggle as Lazerat gave him a sidelong hunt. "Thanks you! Really you were a good teacher though." This felt like the sort of time when a much cooler and confident person would suggest that he could teach him some more lessons in private. Zory took a deep breath and then softly muttered, "Maybe you can teach me some more things."
He wasn't sure that Laz even heard him, but that was probably for the best. Zoremet was not nearly as confident as Zelly was, and while he normally didn't flounder so much around other men, for some reason he had been having more trouble lately. Especially with certain men. Men like Lazerat. Maybe he should try to invite the holder out to where he would be more comfortable. "Want to go hiking some time? Just you and me and Pit? Maybe we can just go today. I can try to send a letter to A'tay and say I bumped into a friend and will be here longer..." hopefully his brother wouldn't be too worried or upset. He was just having so much fun that he wasn't ready to go home.
