She yawned, jaw cracking as she settled into the seat she'd chosen. She'd ditched her escort rather quickly, the bluerider she'd snagged for the night bringing her over to Fort with nothing more than a pretty please and a bat of her eyelashes. It was nice to know she was still good at that. Maliah grinned as she watched the dragons hum and the eggs shimmy and shake. There was always something rather interesting about hatchings. So much chaos and love and all the shit a person never knew was going to happen. Maybe a little blood, plus all the damned fun they got to have afterward.
She bounced a little in her seat, smacking the arm of the person next to her with excitement as the eggs finally started showing what they held. A green first! And wasn't she just the prettiest damned thing a person ever did see? That coloring was magnificent and she was followed by a sweet blue who had no hesitation in finding the boy for him. The next was a brown who shrilled loudly as he slipped people out of his way. Even where she was Maliah could hear the crazy panic in his poor little voice as he impressed Corvilis.
She couldn't remember if she knew him well or not, maybe she'd make an effort to get to know him.
She continued watching and reminded herself to refrain from slapping the arm next to her next time a dragonet made their appearance.
