Maybe this was where she had to pretend he was a cat. Sure that was not her preferred method of doing anything, but she'd become determined to make Quinvalis her friend. So Zelly resisted the urge to do anything else overly brash and decided that maybe just listening, even if it was to nothing, would be her best strategy as she followed along.
That did have the unfortunate side effect of making the cold a bit more noticeable though. She was already starting to shiver a little, and Zelly pulled her coat tighter around herself, adjusting her scarf for more warmth. Snow was definitely much more fun to play in than to just walk in, she decided.
"Just because you haven't played in the snow in a long time doesn't mean you can't try again." Zelana tilted her head as she finally caved in and spoke. "Why did you stop playing in it? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, it just seems sad. And even if it is, I'll keep walking with you. And if you just want me to keep being quiet I suppose I can try to do that too. When we're done being in the cold remind me to trade you my soup recipe for your cookie recipe."
