This clutch had definitely been a mixed bag as far as the Touching had gone, and Corvilis was wary about the hatching. Sure the odds were that most of the babies were decent enough and he'd just gotten unlucky with he ones he'd picked to touch at first, but part of him hoped that he wouldn't get any of those snotty little brats with their judgement. Still, any dragon at all was probably better than none... or at least most dragons were. This clutch seemed healthy, the gold had been in good shape, and no one was anticipating that anything was going to go wrong, so it would probably be fine.
He just had to hope that he impressed something decent. Corv had scarfed down his dinner before running to get changed, but unlike some of the others he brought his coat, pulling it around him tightly as he trudged through the snow to the Sands. He set it off to the side at the entrance, leaving Fern and Sky to guard it. Hopefully that would keep them busy enough and out of the way that no one would complain. He still thought it was silly they couldn't come, but if that was what the gold wanted that was what she'd get.
After a quick look around he spotted Narinoa and walked over, giving the man a casual nudge. "Hey. Let's hope we get one yeah?" He didn't expect to have a lot of conversation, but it was nice to have at least a friendly face nearby.
