At least her brother was coming, maybe that would make the trouble better and whatever punishment easier to live with. She tried to stretch her own nose out to meet Taith's when he flopped down on the other side of her little wall, but it wasn't enough. She nudged enough of her wall out of the way to make room for her partner in sneak thievery and waited until they were comfortable before trying to nudge things back into place with her tail.
There was a little chirp as Rudi, also covered in black ink from rolling in the puddles on the ledge, popped in, worried about Mal. He bounced around the room and the furniture, adding his own tiny black claw marks to the decor before landing on top of his formerly gold friend to offer some additional comfort.
At least the trip from the Gather back to the weyr was short and with some sort of calamity going on with Mal she was relieved to find out that D'hys had actually went and gotten his own permission from the weyrleaders to take Cazan. Something about saving his own hide, which was fine by her since it was one less thing to worry about. She'd owe him a favor, but at the moment she was more worried about Malvayth.
Cazan was only mildly surprised when she saw Kor'is outside her door. "Was it that bad? What did they do?" She frowned as she let him into her weyr and stopped to stare at the mess. "Mal... what did..." she sighed, walking over to the barricade of furniture, ignoring the black stains scattered around from the dye rubbing off. "Are you both okay behind there? Come on, let me take a look at you." She was more worried than angry, shouting wouldn't make the dye magically clean itself up.
