Larrikith gave a chitter of delighted excitement as Oruth landed on her back with an oof, the little green scrabbling around before settling down. She could hear the baby's own squeals of excitement and Larrikith dipped down, flaring her wings at the last second and swooping over the heads of several of the grumbling weyrlings with another chirp, eyes swirling swiftly with her excitable emotions. The little green beat her wings with stronger strokes, surging ahead of the party of walking humans. They had to get Oruth to the lakeside, and make sure some of the larger dragons came back to pick up the other babies. Larrikith didn't fancy lugging them all to the Lake, and wasn't particularly interested in being any more helpful than she was. And it was only okay with Oruth because Oruth was fun, and Grith was with her!
Again! Oruth's soft voice was pleasant, but her words caused Larrikith to quiver in delight and she bugled for Grith's fickle attention, chirping questioningly as she dipped closer, then under the other green to rise up on the other side of her. Ready?! Larrikith's voice was quivering with excited anticipation as she waited for both Grith and Oruth to confirm their readiness, then she swayed out over the top of Grith. Oruth gave a chirp, and leaped upwards, leaving Larrikith's back long enough for the tiny green dragon to wink between, and reappear to the left in time to see the baby dragon land on Grith with a squeal of pleasure. Larrikith added her own voice to the fray, pushing onward excitedly as they made their way to the Lake, the walking humans left far behind.
B'jin laughed in return, completely ignoring his dragon and her antics. To try and stop her would only cause the green monster to do even more outrageous things. Especially since he couldn't actually see any harm in what was going on; Oruth was having a blast, and enjoying it as much as the two "adult" dragons. Why burst their bubble of fun? The man wasn't really given a chance to respond to Par'a's disbelief as the woman suddenly took off, babbling and B'jin blinked in surprise, the expression on his face first warming to one of amusement, before taking on a slightly devious air as he watched Par'a angle in on Jada.
He burst into laughter when Par'a slapped Jada on the rump, biting his bottom lip and smiling innocently when he caught Jada's sour response. Poor child! He was still smirking when Par'a came back and linked her arm once more with his, and highly amused, B'jin gave her a particularly dramatic kiss to the cheek. Laughter once more bubbled forth, and B'jin shook his head as he walked along happily with the other greenrider. "Oh yes, I did hear about that." That had been a particularly interesting day. As for extraordinarily comfortable shirts..? "It's a bluerider thing." B'jin's expression was pure coy evil as he batted his eyes innocently at Par'a. How many had he managed to steal off R'nd, now? The ruined ones were unfortunate casualties, but he was rather fond of the one he'd managed to snag without damaging it. Par'a was right. Delightfully comfortable.
"Juicy gossip? Why Par'a, hurt!-" B'jin was cut off, even as he put a dramatic hand to his heart, by the little gold dragon that appeared before them, looking ever so full of herself. An eyebrow arched as he felt the little gold force her way into his mind, and demand attention. The other eyebrow arched up as he peered down at her in amusement. "Adults?" B'jin asked, blinking in mock surprise. "There are adults present?" Huge eyes turned on Par'a, and he stage whispered, "Do you know what ones she's talking about?" Laughter was bubbling under the surface of his voice, as he stepped delicately around Krypth, patting her patronisingly on the head as he went and winked at Par'a.
