K'tir wasn't so sure about that. He groaned and hugged the pillow to his head despite knowing that wouldn't work at keep Ghaeth out. Honestly, it wasn't that much earlier than what he normally woke at but he had done a little entertaining that night and thought he'd allow himself to sleep in a bit. Of course something would come up to keep that from happening. Since it was a Hatching that his sweet baby girl was Standing at, he naturally had to get up and kept the complaining to a minimum.
Despite that, he took his time with washing up and grabbing some breakfast. He knew rushing as soon as the news came wasn't necessary but he wasn't going to spend the next two hours dilly-dallying either. But about an hour after Ghaeth's wake up call the dragon was geared up and K'tir could see some others out on their ledges preparing as well while the rest of the Weyr took their time with their normal morning routines.
At Fort, Ghaeth went up to a ledge where he saw a friend and K'tir gave R'nya a little two finger teasing salute as he walked by. It'd been too long since he last pestered that Weyrleader but K'tir had been trying to stay out of the way with Benden Weyr being such a strong focus and stress-maker. But soon. Soon he'd go back to randomly popping in on R'nya and flirting with the man just because it amused him.
He saw Katiryn with a group of friends and called out to her, smiling with so much pride at the woman she was becoming. Kind, popular, and beautiful... there was no way a gold would pass her by. He didn't know if these ones would be the right match but K'tir knew his daughter was destined for greatness but it just might not happen that day. He'd keep thinking positively for her but he would also be ready to be a shoulder to cry on if it didn't work out.
