Fuck. Jajojin’s daughter. How much had she seen? It was one thing for her to know he had stepped in and helped her friend but it was another to have her see him so swiftly take care of a nuisance and report to daddy. If she had seen the fight or not, she still thanked him and D’hys nodded at her gratitude but didn’t say anything as his gaze went back to the targeted blue pair, ensuring they were fine.
Zeianth gave him a small nod that the little blue seemed to be calming down and wouldn’t be an issue anymore and it seemed the human was recovering from it all, if still a bit lost in shock. Speaking of shock, D’hys gave the boy a confused look at the offer for ice before recalling the lucky punch Dumber got in and gently touched his jaw. A little tender, would likely be red by now and maybe even show a bit of colouring later on, but he’d be fine. “No need. I’ll tend to it in a bit.” He’d find some ice after running his errand and didn’t need the gaggle of kids tagging along for it.
“You did well looking after each other. Never forget how important that is and always trust each other.” D’hys frowned at the tiny dragonets that now surrounded him and saw how frail they still looked despite the obvious improvement from when they hatched. He couldn’t stand seeing a dragon in such a way and he knew Zeianth was itching to put his wings around them all and protect them like he wanted to do with all the weaker and meek dragons.
Fuck.
“I want you, any of you three,” he glanced at B’kitt, then Madiquel, and Sh'ran so they knew exactly which three were included, “to send word to me if you hear anyone whispering about your class again. I’ll take care of them for you and all I ask in return is that you take care of your mates. Now, is there anything else I can do for you? I need to be on my way but Zeianth has a sudden interest in what your class is learning this afternoon and will be sticking around to watch.”
