T’ryn smiled, relieved that F’drel didn’t think him odd or rude for the lapse in conversation and admitting he was lost in thought. Then again, the greenrider seemed like he might harbour the same tendencies and that put him even more at ease. It was nice to find someone else that was okay with not talking constantly and didn’t pry into every aspect of his life. Sure, he asked questions, but they seemed thought out, like F’drel was worried he’d say the wrong thing. Hopefully that wasn’t because he was speaking to a bronzerider. Turns later and T’ryn was still adjusting to the way people now saw him thanks to Syrendryth.
“The dragons seem like they’re getting along and might be a while. You’re welcome to stay. Ask questions or silently soak up the day,” the latter of which was what T’ryn was currently leaning towards. He didn’t mind their conversing but as he leaned all the way back and made himself comfortable with hands under his head as a pillow, he was feeling more inclined to simply unwind and try not to think yet again on the discoveries made at High Reaches Weyr.
“And please let me know if I’m accidentally being rude. Smack my shoulder or something. I never intentionally mean to ignore someone but Mylorah likes to say I’m broody and miss the world around me lately.” He glanced over to F’drel, his smile returning, but this time with a slightly wicked tilt to it, “if you’re looking to adopt a sister, I’m sure she won’t mind. I know I won’t.”
