F’drel shook his head at T’ryn, “No, I’ve never met N’vian. I’ve met R’vi, run into him a few times around Ista, but I don’t know him.” Only in group settings, like the time he got dragged to a Gather by some fellow greenriders, but F’drel had never had a conversation with the bluerider. Or had sex with him, considering that seemed to be the assumption people made if you knew R’vi. More often than not it seemed to be true, too, based on the people F’drel knew. “It does show it’s mostly dragon preference though, doesn’t it. Since their names were only a letter apart to start with but their honorifics are very different. Which makes it a case of dragons being weird. And a handful.” He sighed as he followed T’ryn’s gaze to their dragons, and tuned in to Halomirth.
From what F’drel could tell, she was absolutely delighted. He considered telling T’ryn to warn Syrendryth not to give her a fish, because she would probably faint in happiness. Silly dragon who liked fish way too much. Poor bronze had no idea what he was getting into with Miri. Meant no harm, obviously, but she’d already decided Syrendryth was her friend now and F’drel wasn’t entirely sure the bronze was as interested in that as she was. Whatever, too late now, he would just have to deal with a bubbly green who thinks his fishing ability is amazing more often than likely desired. Which meant F’drel would probably be seeing more of T’ryn, if Miri had her way — both with making her own friends and encouraging him to make them. F’drel sighed again, resigned to it; T’ryn didn’t seem too bad, and hopefully he’d never have to learn otherwise. Pity he had never been that lucky before.
