Mylorah gasped when she first saw the green eyeing Daelyne up. She knew her friend was likely hoping for the dragon to choose her and Mylorah was mentally chanting over and over to make it happen. Please, don't let her wander off to someone else! She already made her way here, let her...oh!
She couldn't help it, she cheered when Daelyne and the eye-catching green bonded and her vision blurred from tears of joy. Any Impression always made her romantic side come out, viewing everything as wonderful and precious, but when it was to a friend, it was always overwhelming. When it was a female friend Impressing to a fighter? She wanted to jump around and shout to the world that it was perfectly okay and that this girl was going to rock it as a dragonrider. She didn't do that, yet, and she didn't get a chance to even hug Daelyne as they hadn't been standing that close together but she'd definitely pass on her congratulations--and possibly jealousy if she didn't Impress-- later on during the celebrations.
That lifted her spirits some. She didn't know why, but when she was in Ista, she always felt like she could get any colour, but here in Telgar, it felt like she'd only get the gold. Mylorah blamed the rules and how they tried to brainwash the girls into believing they should only be on gold. She had nothing against the colour and would be as happy on that as she would be on green or even blue. A dragon was a dragon, just some came with different responsibilities.
When she heard R'dare cheering, she sought him out in the stands, finding him just as he sat back down beside R'dal. Leave it to those two to be a part of something that slightly bent the rules but wouldn't really get them in trouble. She shook her head, giggling at them, and then burst into laughter that made her cover her mouth before she drew too much attention her way. There was a chance she was mistaken given the distance between her and the boys, but she swore she just saw R'dare eye up Casa. Looks like someone enjoyed the camping trip and had finally recovered enough from it to try for more!
Other than one injury, on a boy she surprisingly wasn't familiar with, Mylorah thought things were going well, if long. She wanted to sit down and maybe if Daelyne hadn't proved that girls could still Impress despite the rules, they would have been allowed. But it would be too dangerous to be that low to the ground with an angry or even excited dragonet charging at you. Not like standing tall really helped either with how they could knock you over.
Looking about all the Candidates when it fell still again, she smiled at some when they saw her and she'd mouth words of encouragements or give them thumbs up if they couldn't read lips. Misharan, however, received a funny face when they saw each other. She was both sad and relieved that they were still on the Sands together. It hadn't sunk in until that moment that he had a much higher chance of Impressing than she did and if he did, he'd be in Telgar for what would seem like forever. She adored him but she wasn't sure she was willing to risk transferring back to the cold for him.
