Mylorah resorted to holding her breath as the boys finally made their way from the room to keep her straight face. As soon as they were gone, she joined Misharan in laughing and crawled off of him to once more curl up beside him. She didn't care what might come from it in regards to what was said about herself but she did have slight regret over Misharan's reputation. If they knew Misharan well enough, then they might be in on the joke. If nothing else, as soon as they tried to spread word of the event, someone would speak up and correct them. Then again, since Misharan was also laughing, maybe he didn't care either. Really, the whole thing would boost her reputation. Even the gay men wanted her!
After composing herself, Mylorah turned over to lie on her stomach, elbows propping her up and head resting in hands. "Of course I am. Anything else would be dreadfully dull. But it's not my fault that they interpreted my words to be sexual. Whatever they come up with won't come close to the truth of our catching up and gossiping." She merely gave a warning and left it open to interpretation.
"Speaking of dreadfully dull... that's been Ista more often than not. I shouldn't have let you and some of the others go!" Mylorah stuck out her lower lip to give a spectacular pout. Even her older brother, Korlin, had decided to try his luck at other Hatchings and wandered off with the group. They had always been close and only grew closer when the landslide killed their mom and her mate couldn't look at them without remembering their mom and their little brother. It had been a definite downside to having inherited her mother's looks instead of her father's but that was an old wound and it didn't hurt quite as much when she happened to see the man or think back on the rejection.
"So tell me what and who you've been doing since leaving me. Oh! And Kordi said to pass on his greetings as well," Mylorah gave a knowing grin as she mentioned the Candidate who liked staying in Ista. She still thought that was weird given his mommy issues but he only recently decided to start Standing so maybe he'd move away from her eventually as well. But as much as she liked to gossip with Misharan, she found they never really had a chance to talk about the kinky camping trip for one reason or another and they certainly hadn't traded any notes on the men they had both shared. Except R'vi. But that could be done with practically anyone you spoke to.
