M’dox figured the little shiver he felt from T’bia was a good reaction, but he stilled when T’bia shifted, unsure if maybe he’d overstepped some boundary. The noises his friend was making, however, and the way he grabbed at M’dox’s thigh seemed to indicate that T’bia was in favor of how things were going. And oh did M’dox like T’bia’s reaction, every sound a pleasant spark, every touch sending a curl of heat through his stomach. He whined when T’bia changed the position of his head, gently forcing M’dox to stop kissing him, but it was quickly replaced by a delighted laugh when he realized what T’bia was doing. It took no time at all for M’dox to adjust to the new seating arrangement, placing a hand flat on the small of T’bia’s back to pull him in as close as possible.
Something M’dox found he appreciated about kissing T’bia was that the bluerider didn’t expect him to do everything (which is rather how his first kissing ‘adventures’ had gone, with M’dox being overwhelmed and expecting the other person to tell him exactly what to do). He had worried, a bit, when he learned he was T’bia’s first kiss, that it would be up to him to decide everything about kissing. Which, M’dox figured he could, if he had to, but he wasn’t that knowledgable about kissing either. And kissing took more than one person, so they should both have a say in what they did. He didn’t want to bore T’bia! Or make him feel like M’dox didn’t care about what he wanted, because that was the opposite of the truth! M’dox cared a lot about what T’bia wanted and liked, and wanted to give whatever that was to him (M’dox just didn’t want to make all the decisions either, and would definitely encourage T’bia to lead sometimes). At the moment, T’bia seemed to be waiting for M’dox to lead the kiss, and M’dox was perfectly content to oblige, leaning up into the kiss and taking the control he was being given.
Even though he didn’t want the kiss to end, M’dox still sighed happily as their mouths broke apart, eyes fluttering closed for a moment as he basked in the warmth the kiss brought to every part of him. “I would say the same of you,” M’dox said, more exhale than proper speech as he took several needed deep breaths. Unlike T’bia he actually had a few previous kisses to compare these to, though he may be slightly biased. If M’dox were to be completely fair to all parties, one or two of the other people he’d kissed were likely technically better at it, from experience or something, but he hadn’t liked kissing those people nearly as much. Which meant that, as far as M’dox was concerned, T’bia did indeed give the best kisses. T’bia may have said it lightly, but M’dox had answered him seriously; he’d never liked kissing anyone as much as he liked kissing T’bia, it had never felt like this before, like he was floating and flying and every part of his body was singing, and T’bia deserved to know.
He ducked his head a little, not exactly embarrassed by telling T’bia how much he liked him, liked kissing him, but perhaps somewhat overwhelmed by the sheer strength of what he was feeling. M’dox didn’t know what to do about how much he liked T’bia, and he almost felt he was drowning in the intensity of it all. With a soft noise M’dox leaned in to tuck his face into the crook of T’bia’s neck, not kissing him again, just breathing him in. He hummed quietly, hoping T’bia didn’t mind him having to take a moment. The hand that wasn’t holding T’bia close moved to rest on the top of the bluerider’s thigh, and M’dox gently rubbed circles there with his thumb, hopefully reassuring T’bia that he wasn’t upset or anything, he just needed an extra few seconds to breathe and process everything a little .
