N’mor followed T’ryn around the lake, cheerful enough though he was honestly a lot more aware of the cold now that they’d brought it up, and their activity had dwindled into just casually trying not to fall on their faces or their rears, instead of playing tag or actually learning how to skate. The young bronzerider was actually shivering when T’ryn lead them to the edge of the lake and stepped off it. N’mor took the hand that was offered to him, stumbling slightly at the difference between gliding on ice and walking on snow.
Laughing, N’mor glanced towards the house that seemed to have captured T’ryn’s attention, before wrapping his arm around his friend’s waist, agreeing that playing the frozen nephew card sounded like a wonderful idea. Getting back to the bench and their boots, N’mor found that getting the ice-skates off was much easier than getting them on – like many things he struggled with daily. Tugging his boots on, and winding the laces around the special tie that had been created on them, N’mor stood up and tilted his head at T’ryn.
“You’re distracted,” he teased, but did not really press. “C’mon, let’s go demand fire and warmth!” Grinning happily at his friend, N’mor waited for T’ryn to join him, and, still shivering, angled for the Hold proper.
