Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! Wenon's face softened at Quinvalis' embarrassment, though she kept herself from smiling. She had an image to keep up, though she sometimes considered letting people see past it. Quinvalis probably wouldn't go telling the whole Weyr he got the terrifying ex-Weyrwoman to smile, even if she did. Who would even believe him if he did?
She thanked him and reached out for the scarf, carefully turning it over in her hands. It was soft, and felt like it would be warm. Wenon spent a moment inspecting it, nodding as she determined it was well made. The colors were very nice as well. Wenon couldn't help but be reminded of Yanth; his rich brown hide would look nice with them. Perhaps she'd have to wear it the next time (she had stopped saying 'if' a long time ago) she had to go somewhere on dragonback. Yanth would appreciate matching the people he carried. He may not be her dragon, but Wenon intended to look as if she belonged on dragonback even if thinking of being there made her tremble slightly. She quickly banished the thoughts, carefully putting the scarf down on the desk in front of her.
"It is beautiful, thank you. I appreciate the gifts, Quinvalis. If the pot the stew is in is yours, I will instruct whoever comes to clear it away to return it to you." Wenon almost smiled again. "Now, I'm, sure you have some task to attend to that isn't chatting with old women. I hope you have a good rest of your day. You are always welcome to stop by."
