Opinions:
    Threadfall Theory: He was raised in a holder family of rank, and as a result was surrounded by people who were mildly to very resentful of having to tithe to dragonriders, and were somewhat relived they were gone. These same people liked to talk about how that meant they had no need for dragonriders, and therefore there would be no Thread. He's not so sure anymore, but he's still a bit skeptical.
    Stealing/Kidnapping: Before his time, but he disliked the concept.
    Weryrleader S'kef: Never met him.
     Firelizards: Kind of neutral, just another new facet of weyrlife.
