Worry plagued M'dox in the minutes he waited for T'bia to respond. As Riquarth hummed reassurance through their bond, M'dox finished sorting his laundry into separate loads. He wondered whether he should take a wash tub next to T'bia, since they were sort of talking, but since he hadn't responded did that mean the conversation was over and he should go to the farthest wash tub? He began nervously folding and unfolding the sheet, pretending to be checking for stains and holes while he debated which washtub to take.
Thankfully, T'bia responded and made his decision easier.
"That makes you Weyrbred, right?" M'dox asked as he gathered up his chosen first load of laundry. He decided not to address T'bia's 'loser' comment. The bluerider didn't seem like a loser to him, but considering he was a loser himself, he wasn't sure how good his judgement was. Besides, he had no idea how to have that conversation, and absolutely no desire to. He thought about what it would be like to have his siblings at Telgar. He figured all his siblings would have Impressed by now; he definitely would have been the last to Impress. He figured Raddrea would have a bronze, and probably Den as well. He thought Enfrai would be most likely to have a green (not that she couldn't Impress a gold, green just seemed to fit better). As much as he missed his family, he couldn't imagine them living at the Weyr with him. It made him curious.
"What's it like having your family around?" He asked as he approached the row of washtubs along the back wall. "Also, do you mind if I use this one?" M'dox said, pointing to the hot wash tub one over from T'bia. Riquarth crooned proudly and M'dox blushed, a mix of talking to a stranger and the praise from his dragon.
