Ameris would have laughed outright had she been privy to his thoughts, but as it were she merely grinned a little more widely at his statement. She'd known Casa before the girl had impressed Thallyath and knew how wild and carefree she had been. Not that Ameris could begrudge the girl her moments running wild through the weyr, there had been a few wild moments for her as well though she'd been born before the move south. These wild Katila born 'brats had brought life to the makeshift weyr and Ameris could be grateful for it. "Being responsible is all fine and dandy but the girl's got to have a little fun in there too," she said tongue in cheek. The comment earned her a harrumph from Mizeath, though it was mostly the atrocious structure of the sentence than the words themselves, and Ameris grinned around her own fruit.
"Ista is quite lovely," she replied, "Mizeath doesn't mind a few days sun bathing on those pretty beaches. She's gotten pretty lazy lately what with the rolling around in the sand and sun. Might have to put that gold to work." Mizeath muttered in her mind of lazy riders and offensive natures and she winked before chuckling, "Sounds to me that you were the perfect choice for Thallyath. A good balance even if she doesn't let you have all the fun."
She started lightly when M'ris voiced her very thoughts and a happy blush stole up her cheeks. "Very much so," she answered with a sparkle in her eyes. She most certainly would not mind a detour or two and it was apparent in the look she gave him. She eyed Casa from the corner of her eye, to challenge Casa just the same as M'ris put his suggestion to her. She almost wanted Casa to deny his demand nearly as much as she wanted her to agree. It would be interesting to see what the bright young goldrider was capable of. It was never to early to learn to have a spine when it came to demanding bronzeriders. "Well Casa?" she asked lightly, putting her own demand out, "What do you say? Are you willing to watch Eris while we visit Telgar?"
