B'jin was frowning over his shoulder, staring at the image of himself reflected in the mirror he had hooked up on the bedroom wall. He wasn't, and never had been, a particularly vain person. But the markings across his back, with the new skin forming and scarring was a rather horrific sight; B'jin had nice skin, and that was just. Wow. Shrugging tentatively, wriggling his shoulders with caution to test both skin and muscle elasticity, B'jin gently pulled a shirt on over his head and did up the lacing at his chest with slow fingers. Leaving his bedroom, B'jin tugged the door shut absently and kicked a stuffed toy across the room.
B-b-bb-bb-B'jin, Larrikith called, stuttering her riders name for no apparent reason, though the laughter behind it indicated that it had been done purposefully. B'jin's eyebrow arched slightly and he snorted his own amusement. "Yes, dear?" We are going to the Hatching, right? She smirked, peering in the window with bright eyes at her life mate as the man spun around, staring at her with wide eyes. "LARRI!" B'jin yelped, staring at the dragon wtih a wild expression before he caught up with the humming and his own dragon rumbled her amusement.
Come on, then! Larrikith chirped, watching as B'jin threw himself into action and then atop her back and the little green winked between to appear in the sky above the Hatching Circuit with a delighted bugle of greeting to her fellow dragons. Pushing her smaller body into the Circuit, Larrikith found herself somewhere to watch happily as B'jin grumbled to himself about the cold of between and tender skin and mumbled to himself as he settled himself down.
"Talian's safe at the Hall, right Larri?" Knowing the boy didn't want to tempt fate, they had agreed he'd be better off spending the occasion within the Healer Hall he was slowly claiming as his own. Larrikith rumbled softly. For now, she murmured, eyes focusing on the Candidates. Good luck Valerian! Larrikith cheered, humming happily as she watched the young man. B'jin threw him a smile, eyes flicking over those he had actually Searched and nodding to them.
