N’mor ran his hand through his hair in mild irritation as he propped a hip against the wall. He’d brought his little sister to Telgar to see their father, but the little imp had vanished on him, and Rhezalth found the entire situation far too hilarious to actually help his human find the girl. By that alone, N’mor knew she was okay and probably had found good company in the form of a lady or even their father – Rhezalth wasn’t giving any indications one way or the other – so while N’mor was mildly frustrated with his dragon, he wasn’t stressed about the situation.
Standing straight once more, N’mor shrugged his shoulders at his dragon and made his way towards the dining hall, wondering mildly if Amorandii had headed in that direction to find some desserts, since those were only outweighed by new dresses by the girl. Entering the Dining Hall, N’mor nodded greeting to an older bronzerider that was leaving the area, his grey-green eyes flickering around to take in those that were still in the hall. His expression brightened in delight when he spotted R’nd eating with a young lady. A sly little smirk pulled up one corner of N’mor’s lips, and he heard Rhezalth rumble in amusement in the back of his mind.
N’mor was far from a cruel young man, but after seeing his father mated to a monster like N’mall for so many turns, he had taken quite a while to warm up to R’nd. While the bluerider would likely be surprised by the fact, N’mor quite liked R’nd; he was an intelligent man who was good to his father and treated him right. Despite that, or perhaps because of it, N’mor rather enjoyed the power he had over R’nd. For some reason, the bluerider found his presence unnerving and N’mor found that hilarious – especially since that strange power over the bluerider had been given to him at a very young age.
Striding purposefully down the Hall and towards the pair, N’mor kept a blank stare on R’nd, waiting for the moment when the bluerider’s gaze would land upon him and register. It took a moment, and indeed, N’mor was almost to the table when the bluerider finally spotted him. A sly little smirk tilted up one side of the young bronzerider’s lips but he didn’t do anything more than nod a polite greeting to the young woman as he stepped out from behind her to stand across the table from the pair. Gaze turning back to R’nd, N’mor simply looked at him for a few moments, just to make the bluerider squirm. Only after he had succeeded did N’mor turn his attention to Einin.
“Excuse me, I don’t mean to interrupt.” A slight smile was given to the young woman, noting her candidate knots with expressive eyes. “You must be one of R’nd’s searchees. I’m sure he’s making you feel welcome here.” A sly look was tossed to the bluerider, N’mor quite aware of the reputation R’nd had had when he was younger for his ‘welcoming’ of those brought to Katila. He was fairly sure that R’nd hadn’t welcomed anyone in that way for quite some time, but the bluerider was far too much fun to tease.
N’mor sobered a little, and tilted his head at R’nd. “Have you seen Amorandii? I brought the girl here to see Dad, but she’s vanished and Rhezalth is enjoying the game of hide-and-seek far too much. Larrikith is probably the orchestrator.” He added dryly. Tossing a wink at Einin, N’mor plucked the fork from R’nd’s fingers and stole a piece of dessert, chewing placidly before putting the fork playfully back between R’nd’s fingers. Truly, the bluerider was far too much fun!
