Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! Her brow puckered with slight confusion, though an easy grin could still be seen on her lips. A night away from everything? It was deliciously tempting but... "No one will mind?" she asked with a little concern, "What if something goes wrong? Or there's an emergency?" It was hard to image a night simply for herself. She'd never had something like that, she had spent her life either caring for her drunken father or chasing after Rislan and late Mizeath. Not to mention no one outside Mizeath had ever cared for her. She wasn't quite sure what to do with it.
It did please her that he took the time to worry for her and the babe. It was nice when she thought about it and she could hear Mizeath's pleased mumbling in her mind. Mizeath adored Ameris and if M'ris was willing to care for her rider, the gold could never dislike him. It did help that he was Mosiath's rider and she happened to like that bronze very much.
Still a little apprehensive, Ameris allowed him to take her hand and lead her towards the bath. She did have to admit the swirling steam and the over abundance of bubbles did look inviting. She'd heard from some of the creche workers and silly candidates much the same as M'ris. That bubbly baths were good for what ails you. Elegant fingers scooped up a pile of bubbles and she grinned at the soapy feel. If it failed, at least she would be clean. "I suppose it couldn't hurt to try," she told him as she reached for the hem of her oversized shirt. Truthfully she was a little excited at the thought of trying it out.
She wasn't shy when she slipped the garment over her head and stood half naked in front of him. He'd seen her with much less on before and one tended to get over any body shyness when they lived in a weyr. Her stomach curved with the child inside and was lightly lined with the marks of pregnancy, they were nothing she was ashamed of. She undid the tie that help her loose skirt up and let it slip to the floor as she stepped out of it. A hand braced on his shoulder as she stepped into the tub and sank down with a sigh into the frothy and hot water. "It is rather nice," she said, glancing at him, "Would you care to join me? I mean the tubs big enough it shouldn't be a problem. But only if you'd like."
