Eyes: Almond shaped and clear bright brown.
Hair: Black with a bit of wave to it that is kept long, roughly midway down her back. She wears it down as much as she has it pulled back.
Height: 5’7
General Appearance: Despite her lean form, she still has curves brought on from motherhood. Her frame also poses as a good optical illusion as she has excellent upper body strength from turns of working in the tavern. A bright smile is often on her face.
Dressing Style: Quilriana loves flowing girly dresses that are cinched at the waist which show off just enough of her curves without being too bold.

General Character Traits: Despite being a rather proper lady by all intents and purposes, Quilriana has learned to let down her hair a bit since becoming a widower. She knows the likelihood of a man wanting her for a wife at her current stage in life is low and she has embraced that. She has her children to think about and her focus now is to provide for them and help her aging father with the family business, though her brother is the one to inherit.
While she does spend a lot of time working or with her kids, Quilriana still knows how to take some time for herself and enjoys having fun in whatever means it comes in.
She doesn’t expect much out of people though that’s hardly to say she thinks little of them. She simply takes what they offer and doesn’t hold out for anything more than that. There isn’t reason to. There’s only so much time in life and it shouldn’t be wasted in daydreams and hopes. After what life has already tossed her way, she’s decided to take it all in stride and enjoy.
Habits/Mannerisms: Twirls strands of hair around her fingers while thinking or needs something for idle hands to fidget with. Sometimes she’ll even do little braids.
Opinions:
Threadfall Theory: Never put too much thought into it since it happened before her time.
Stealing/Kidnapping: Horrible! There was likely a good reason for it but there had to be a better way as well.
Firelizards: They’re cute but possibly a lot of work like any pet.
Return North: She’s fascinated by dragons but a bit hesitant as well considering her experience with horses — dragons are a lot bigger!

[div class="NORTHERNNRspinelists"]Night Strolls:
It’s so peaceful! Working at a tavern and having two young children don’t leave Quilriana with a lot of quiet time or alone time so she enjoys a walk around the town when everyone else has gone to bed.[div class="NORTHERNNRspinelists"]Night Strolls:
Strategy Games:
It doesn’t mean she’s all that good at them or really has anyone who will play against her or take her seriously as a partner, but Quilriana likes the challenge of the game.Baths:
Another time where she can usually have a few minutes to herself as she soaks in the hot water and unwinds.
Dislikes:
Sleeping Alone:
Before she was married, Quilriana liked having room to move around but since being married, she’s learned to enjoy the presence of another person beside her and cuddling when she can. It’s something that is now missed and even the smallest of beds seems too large. Comments About her Kids:
She might not look it, but Quilriana can be a fierce mother bear. Any ill-spoken word about them in her hearing will result in her standing up to the person regardless of age or gender.Dislike 3:
Strengths:
Trustworthy:
Growing up and working in a tavern has left her with quite a few people spilling their secrets and life stories to her. She definitely knows how to keep her mouth closed, having learned doing otherwise can be bad for business and reputations.Empathetic:
Again, thanks to her upbringing, Quilriana is good at understanding another’s feelings and it shows in her expressions as well.Vibrant:
Despite the curveballs that life has tossed her way, Quilriana keeps an upbeat view on everything and enjoys smiling.
Flaws:
Timid:
When she first meets someone new, when that someone shows any level of interest in her, she can be a bit shy.Superficial:
While she does try to avoid judging a book by its cover, Quilriana is still drawn in towards good-looking men or a pretty dress above most anything else.Tolerant Smiles:
Despite her ability to keep secrets and show interest in what everyone says, there are some people she simply can’t stand and it shows in the smile she wears that is barely tolerant, as if she’s only humouring them.Personal History

As per usual, as soon as the door opened to the tavern, Quilriana looked up from her task and sent a smile to the newest patron. It never mattered if she knew the person or not or if she liked them or not. Everyone was welcomed equally under their roof, even the ones that were clearly new to the area and hesitating in the doorway to either scan for a quiet location or a familiar face.
She could tell the man was a dragonrider almost instantly. For one thing, he wasn’t a face she had seen around the tavern before but he also carried himself differently as he walked across the floor to a vacant seat – in a quiet area off to the side, she noted with a slight smirk of amusement. There was a poise and confidence to him that most of the men that worked the fields or the smiths. He almost commanded attention and respect with it. That, or he simply didn’t know how to let loose and was under as much pressure as a shaken corked bottle. Thinking on it, Quilriana realised she had also described a Lordling with either scenario. Another glance was sent to the mystery man and she decided he was definitely a dragonrider and not a Lordling.
The empty glasses Quilriana had grabbed from another table were set down at the bar and a damp rag was picked up. She had her suspicions about what he was but she wouldn’t know for certain until contact was made and that was her job after all, at least, when she wasn’t helping in the kitchen. “Good evening, sir,” she greeted cheerfully with a bright smile before wiping down the table to make sure there wasn’t a sticky mess waiting for an arm to lean in. “Welcome to the Whetstone. Can I get you something to start with?”
