B'jin rubbed absently at his temple as he watched the young bronze climb up onto the bed (he was starting to get much much too big to be sleeping there) and make himself comfortable once more. He'd probably eaten a bit more than was advisable, his belly expanded like an over stuffed bronze ball. Their eyes met for a few moments, and B'jin sighed softly as Rhezalth snuggled against Indamor's side, the opposite side to where the amputated limb was propped carefully upon a pillow, and breathed soft warm breath over his lifemate's face. Indamor stirred, lashes fluttering over dark brown eyes looking into his dragon's face with affection before shifting to look at B'jin with a hazy expression. B'jin could see the lingering whispers of pain and drugs in the dull gaze.
"Hey, kiddo." B'jin smiled gently as he stepped closer, brushing hair back from Indamor's face and placing a gentle kiss on his son's temple. Reaching over to the little beside table, and came back with a small cup of water. B'jin helped Indamor sit up and drink the liquid, before settling his son back down when it became clear he was on the brink of falling asleep again. Talian had told him that he wouldn't be keeping Indamor so heavily drugged for long, but for now - and especially since Rhezalth seemed to be handling it so well - it was better for the boy to be unconscious and healing, than conscious and healing. B'jin smoothed the blanket down, a worried frown on his face; how would his boy handle his Weyrlinghood now? Impressing Rhezalth had opened up so many opportunities for his son... and, and now... B'jin sighed and stood back up, pacing across the room with the frown back between his brows and a frustrated hand raking through knotted blonde hair.
You have company, love. Larrikith's voice was soft and subtle, careful about interrupting B'jin's thoughts but knowing that he wouldn't want to be taken by surprise, or to have R'nd leave when he realised how B'jin was fretting over things that couldn't be helped. The greenrider turned to look towards the door, left hand still caught in his own hair as he blinked at R'nd. His hand was lowered slowly, and he melted into his lover's arms and puffed out a soft sigh. A weary smile was give in response to the kiss upon his nose, and B'jin hugged R'nd tight, before loosening his grip and resting his chin lazily on the bluerider's shoulder and arms looped lazily around his waist.
"I would like that," B'jin murmured, lifting his chin from R'nd's shoulder to lean back a little and meet grey eyes with brown. The excitement could be seen, bubbling under the surface and B'jin's expression brightened just slightly from the airs of utter exhaustion to curious and slightly more awake. "Indamor woke a moment ago, but he and Rhezalth should sleep for a while now." Stepping back a little, B'jin's left hand found R'nd's and he wove their fingers together. "Lead the way, love." Larrikith would stay to keep an eye on the Weyrlings, assuming Ayyonth was not adverse to carrying him; he didn't think he would be.
