Ryvian had Touched eggs like the current one before where they seemed content to coexist with each other as if having a peaceful examination of each other or a stare down. He didn’t expect much else out of the inhabitant and was completely caught off guard when he went stumbling away from the egg as if shoved physically instead of just mentally. A natural reaction to catch himself and stay balanced kept him on his feet more than a true focus for doing so. The laughter of the little dragonet was distracting and soon infectious.
With a laugh, Ryvian shook his head and approached the egg again. He didn’t touch it again but instead crouched down to examine it more closely one final time. He’d remember this one and try to see what came from it on the hatching day. “Well played, eggie.” The compliment was given and with a shove to his feet, Ryvian was back to looking around the group.
Indivara seemed to be enjoying herself which made him feel infinitely better. All it took was one bad response and it could scare someone off Touchings and even the Sands in general for some time. He wanted Indivara to enjoy her first time amongst the eggs and to hopefully find the one meant for her. A smile tugged the corners of his mouth as Ryvian focused on finding his potential mate and went for another egg.
A double take was given as he passed by a group of eggs and swore one was covered in a pattern of flowers. Curiosity made Ryvian move in slowly to examine the bunch but didn’t see a single flower upon any of them. One did seem to give off the appearance of such a pattern however, and it was only when he started to turn away again that it really jumped out at him. Such an interesting shell deserved his attention and Ryvian was soon crouching before it and placing his hand on it.
