"R'nd!" I'shan gasped, eyes widening in exaggeration and one delicate hand rising to cover his mouth. "How dare you flirt with me! I'll have you know that I..." He paused for poetic effect. "...Am seeing someone. His name is N'gelt, and he's a brownrider. Who says you need flights to have fun?"
The bluerider smirked, quite pleased with his carefully timed delivery, and started to drift towards Ilveriath. The dragon rolled onto one side and lifted his head, positioning it perfectly so I'shan could use it for a prop to lean on. "And...I like being pursued, you say?" he crooned. I'shan knew he was reasing a bit, but he also didn't expect R'nd to take him too seriously.
You speak as if your pasts are free of sexual tension Ilveriath observed politely. I'shan let out a reserved sigh and looked down at the dragon's jeweled eye. How about you shut up? he said affectionately. The blue only rumbled his contentment.
I'shan looked up again, directing his attention back to the conversation. "Hmmm.." he mused pensively, "I'm with R'nd on that one, miss. Sneaking onto the sands will get you in an awful lot of trouble." He wasn;t sure what, mostly because he'd yet to see the Weyrleader or Weyrwoman completely lose their tempers. He imagined the brunt of the rage would come from Nirianth herself, though. That sounded unpleasant.
He slowly lifted one hand. "By the way, no 'sir' required," he said. "I'm just I'shan."
