I'shan's eyes widened subtly at Lymsleia's next comment. "Oh no," he said delicately, placing his hands on R'nd's arms and beginning to subtly pry them away. "R'nd and I aren't a pair, merely friends," he said. Of course, I'shan was prone to wandering eyes and may or may not have checked his friend out from time to time, but that didn't mean much in the context of a Weyr, now did it?
I'shan paused to absorb R'nd's little comment. Drifting off he thought, a puzzled look creeping onto his face as R'nd released him. I do believe he's figured you out Ilveriath offered, his voice soothing and mellow. I'shan turned around and shot a knowing glance at R'nd, his eyes deepening with the promise of tantalizing secrets.
"I agree," I'shan teased afterwards, returning to the previous topic. He and R'nd looked the part of a couple, though that was hardly the case. The bluerider watched as R'nd approached Lymsleia and poured his out his sweet words. He's good at that I'shan thought with approval, though he didn't intrude this time. He didn't want to actually ruin R'nd's chances, if that was indeed the fellow bluerider's goal. I'shan had already interrupted enough for the girl to think them a couple, so perhaps it was best he hang back for a moment.
The idea probably wouldn't have occurred to him, where it not for Ilveriath's advice. The blue huffed lazily and yawned. Humans.
