She was so confused! Weren’t women supposed to be the ones forever giving off mixed signals? Was she reading him wrong? She had not thought she was! A surprised gasp was released when she was suddenly engulfed in Ryvian’s arms again, being tugged back to sit with him. His chin on her shoulder, Indivara frowned at him with a sideways look, not sure what she was supposed to make of him grabbing her again, after (in her opinion) sending her away. Was he that hooked on chasing her? Really! She was not a green, to be caught whenever he fancied!
Her indignation at that thought was knocked away by the quiet words and the light kiss on her cheek, though she was still frowning in confusion. She slowly relaxed, leaning back against him in the silence and letting her own arms unravel from around herself. One hand rested lightly on his knee, while the other jumped in startled confusion to grab at the hand suddenly drifting between her legs. “What’re you do- Oh!” Her slightly irritable question was interrupted by the startled jerk of her overly sensitive body, before she relaxed, moaning softly. He was so weird! She was not sure if she thought that, or mumbled it, as her fingers wrapped around Ryvian’s wrist, her intent far more to stop him stopping, than to stop him continuing.

“You’re so strange,” Indivara’s voice was placid amusement as she leaned her head back against Ryvian’s shoulder, looking up at him with lazy blue eyes and a half smile. He did some of the oddest things. Good things, granted, but so odd! She hadn’t realised people actually did those sorts of things, having mostly written it off as overly sugared virgin fantasies of the girls Jada was friends with. They were the types of things they giggled about behind their hands, blushed about while they whispered to each other, and ogled the backs of bronzeriders strutting about. Indivara had always rolled her eyes and ignored them. Flight mothing had shown her that such things just didn’t happen, so why get all starry eyed about them?
She had a feeling they were onto something, now, though she was definitely never going to tell her fellow weyrbrat any such thing! It didn't occur to the girl that he would likely pick up exactly that from her odd responses. Despite that, why had she taken so long to agree to play with Ryvian? “We should get out.” She held up one hand as evidence to why, looking at her wrinkled fingers with disgusted amusement. She made no motion to do so, however, for despite everything that had happened, she did not want to put herself on display for Ryvian. Far better he imagine something pretty rested under the water, than the cold truth of the reality.
She grinned impishly, blue eyes sparkling. “About those clothes you promised me…”
