B’jin laughed softly, his pleasure with R’nd’s answer clear in the sound as brown eyes shifted gently, taking in the expressions flickering over his lover’s face with amused delight. No, why would they want to go back yet? There was time, still, before they would be needed and B’jin was quite content to leave a floundering bronzerider in possession of his class. They would be fine; the children were under Larrikith’s watchful gaze…
The greenrider smiled fondly. “Careful what you wish for,” B’jin teased lightly, fingers dancing over R’nd’s chest. It must have been immensely frustrating for the dragons, to watch both men dancing around one another, terrified of the day their partner would grow bored of them and leave, and completely unaware of their partner’s echoed feelings. B’jin did his best refuse acknowledgement of the fact that one day he would wake up, and R’nd would be leaving him in the dust for someone else. He was happy with what he had, and while he had it, he planned to thoroughly enjoy and exploit it. There was nothing he could do, to stop that day from coming, so sure was he that it would, and so B’jin did what he did best: he ignored it.
“One does one’s best,” B’jin whispered in return, lips curving into a playful smile as R’nd fought his hair, the greenriders eyes laughing at his lover for the futile attempt. How long had he been waging war against that lock of hair? And still he fought! It was amusing, and endearing, and B’jin gave in to the revival of kisses and touches when R’nd led the way, more than happy to travel that path again. Many agains! At least until his wonderful lover tired of him, and desired someone new.
