[While it should be noted that Okalinath’s flight has a determined winner, I want to encourage anyone who can make something of the flight to enter! Loser plots are fun, after all!
Also; This post got a little excited on the gore xD

Krypth’s last flight, Okalianth hadn’t been old enough to send the pair fleeing from the Weyr; two days ago, however, Kahleena had been forced to drop what she had been doing and scramble aboard Okalinath and direct the young dragon to a location outside the weyr district. In so doing, she took away any chance of the gold being prodded into heat and taking to the skies at the same time as her dam. Her gold’s flight, of course, would be perfectly terrifying all of its own. Kahleena had no desire to experience it alongside the very real risk of losing her beautiful bonded to a fight and an eternal trip between.
When they had returned home, Okalinath had been looked over by their weyrlingmaster, and Kahleena had been released to do her usual evening activities, assured that Okalinath was in no immediate danger of rising. The next morning’s usual meet up with the Weyrlingmaster had assured Kahleena that Okalinath was fine, and the chance of the young gold rising was as minimal as it had been the day prior. The thought was heavy on the young woman’s mind, however, as she went about her daily duties and her dreams had been far more heated that night than Kahleena would ever have been happy to tell anyone. Never mind alone the curious dragon that had selected a couple of rather highlighted events and spent most of the day questioning Kahleena in a teasing, sultry voice.
The mild from the Weyrlingmaster had given Okalinath that morning had been ignored, the girl far too wrapped up and feeling far too warm in the face. Indeed, Kahleena had been distracted and absentminded more so than usual, mostly put off by the girl herself by Okalinath’s insistent quizzes, and her flushed face also attributed to the intimate questions the dragon would ask at less than ideal moments, the heat flaring up as Kahleena’s active imagination would leap on the hints and prods the dragon gave it. Spending the entire day perpetually aroused was far from a comfortable experience for Kahleena, and she ended it by retreating to the bathing rooms, and the relaxation of hot water, soothing scents, and the quietness of being alone.
She had hardly expected Okalinath to change those plans on her, the gold dragon – who had been snoozing in the fading sunlight on the roof – was brought to wakefulness by her bonded’s activities in the private of her bath (activities Kahleena would most certainly never admit to indulging in). The gold dragon rose, and stretched luxuriously, purring deep in her throat as eyes flared a sudden combination of wanton lust and arrogant challenge. Wide wings flared as the small gold hissed viciously and flung herself into a low flight, leaving the Weyr proper to fall down upon a beast within the semi-feral herds located on the outskirts.
Kahleena gasped, sitting upright in the bathtub with a wave of water spilling over the edges a she struggled with the odd sensations of swirling lust from Okalinath and the over powering desire for blood – a sensation so hot and thick it made the girl choke and gasp as she floundered in the tub of water. She’d barely managed to topple out of the tub, slipping and sliding precariously on the spilt water – when R’nya shouldered his way through the lightly barred door and skidded across the floor with a very inelegant yelp of surprise at the slippery floor.
“I- what? … Ren!” The bronzerider ignored the girl’s screech as he threw a towel around her and began shoving her out of the room. Kahleena was less than agreeable, fighting the man the entire way; she paused when the sudden desire for blood became a sensation of the liquid in her throat and she stumbled. “Ren!”
“Okalinath is blooding! You must stop her from gorging, Khal. Control her.”
Control? Blooding? Kahleena stumbled and hissed at the cold air frisking her mostly revealed form as they left the security of the bathing houses and R’nya gripped her by the upper arms, through the towel flung hazardously around her shoulders and barely falling long enough. “She can’t!” If R’nya responded, she didn’t hear it as Okalinath’s thirst sated and she tore into the warm stomach of the wherry; meat and feathers in innards flew around the beasts muzzle and Kahleena forgot where she was standing. As her mind melded with that of Okalinath and weyrling lessons flittered on the edge of her mind, echoed by R’nya’s continuing hissing to control her, Kahleena whispered a weak ‘blood?’.
Okalinath snarled and spat, throwing the carcass aside and the dead creature flopped to the ground not far from where a potential suitor was waiting, eyes glued to her glowing form. Okalinath preened for a moment, before throwing herself onto another beast, elegance and grace long gone in exchange for fierce bloodlust. Kahleena’s repeated whisper was ignored as the belly was shredded, Okalinath stealing a mouthful of warm innards before she sucked the carcass empty of ichor. A shriek left her then, her muzzle dripping green as she raised it upward, where the sun was slowly abandoning the sky.
Wings spreading wide once more, Okalinath pushed off powerfully, her young body lifting into the sky with strong beats of the wing as she shot upwards, instinct winning out over her lack of experience as she aimed for the very stars themselves. On the ground, Kahleena hissed out as R’nya stared around suddenly, and then began leading her with hurried shoves towards the closest building with a bed. Shoving her mindless form into an empty room, R'nya turned tail and got out of there.
