B’jin was positively glowing with delight at the success off his young class as Larrikith landed neatly and B’jin and Indamor both slid free, joined shortly thereafter by Amorandii as she came bounding over, her dress hem flying around her knees. B’jin turned into the light arm around his waist, throwing both his own around R’nd in glee and hugging the bluerider tightly for a moment before letting him go, face flushing crimson suddenly at the insinuation in his words; the delighted sparkle in brown eyes, however, gave promise that his flushed features did not.
His grin twisted slightly into a playful smirk as Amorandii threw herself at R’nd with her usual demands for hugs and kisses, before skipping off to annoy Ayyonth; B’jin watched her for a moment before his fond gaze shifted to watch R’nd wander off. Turning back to his class, B’jin pointedly ignored several smirking faces as his expression broke back into a delighted grin. “You guys did great!” He really was very proud of them all! That, however, didn’t mean he thought they were at all ready to do the trick on their own, or at all really, but definitely not on their own!
“Do not try it without permission. I would rather not lose any of you. We’ll be travelling between again to get home this evening, and I will begin teaching you how to do it by yourself over our next few lessons. You’re not to try it without Larrikith guiding you, and anyone that does will be severely punished.” B’jin paused, looking around the small class, wanting to make sure they were all aware of exactly how serious he was. B’jin wasn’t quite sure what he would do to punish any troublesome student that decided to try and travel between without the proper education beforehand. While the greenrider had a very long fuse, his temper was something to be feared when truly provoked. That said, B’jin hadn’t thrown a tantrum since his breakup with N’mall, and most the class would either not know of, nor care about, such an event.
“Today is yours to do with as you will. Please don’t fly too far outside the main range we’ll be occupying, and keep an eye out for felines. Your dragons might be too big to be dinner, but each of you are not.” B’jin turned in surprise as a voice spoke his name, the speaker not being recognised until brown eyes studied the face for a moment. His words were considered for a moment, before a devious expression contorted B’jin’s face, hidden behind a mocking look of innocence. He turned back to his class. “Bronzerider N’kal has kindly offered himself if you have any questions, comments or concerns!”
Indeed we did, Larrikith agreed, her tone carrying her own amusement as B’jin dumped his class on the shoulders of the bronzerider and prepared to flee. He appeared to be taking R’nd’s offer rather more seriously than she’d anticipated. It appears your human just became a babysitter. The green’s eyes swirled with amusement as she watched B’jin nip through the class to where Talian was located. He has plans with his mate, she confided with amusement, turning to look at Torath, and your offer came at just the right time.
After very cheerfully dumping his class on the unsuspecting bronzerider (though the knowing smirks on several faces of the young men in his class indicated the bronzerider may not stay so ignorant for long) B’jin slid on light feet between a few riders to where Talian was standing with Khaduceth. The greenrider swept the young man up in a hug and held him tight for a moment before letting him go again. There was no point in voicing how anxious he had been about the trip they’d just completed. Between his anxiety before they’d left and the hug he’d just given, Talian would have to have been a lot stupider than he was in order to not realise.
“Plans?” B’jin asked cheerfully, prompting the young rider to tell him if he had anything planned for the day. They wouldn’t be heading back until the evening – let all the drama well and truly be done with! – so they had a whole day to waste. B’jin was definitely going to hunt down R’nd to go exploring with, later, but it could wait a little longer! Besides, B’jin couldn’t remember the last time he’d spent lazy and companionship time with Talian, instead of classes and doctoring!
