Speaking of blushing virgins! Rhaedalyn giggled softly at Okalinath’s comments about Xyreith picking on R’nya but Kahleena’s comment came so unexpectedly out of nowhere that she nearly choked on the laugh. “Kahleena!” Her friend’s name was spoken with great scandal as Rhaedalyn lifted her hat long enough to stare wide-eyed at the girl before slamming it back down over her face. She was horribly embarrassed by such a comment! Worse, she had never been married and wouldn’t know a thing about how such things went. In a way, it was a reminder of how she had failed to be a proper lady worth marrying off at a proper age but she had been improving her skills when she was Stolen. There was no way to know she wouldn’t currently be married with several adorable children of her own if she had stayed in Telgar.
Still, she had been continuing to learn in Katila, including areas she hadn’t expected without the ceremony that should have come first. That thought alone helped move Rhaedalyn passed utterly scandalized and into something that wasn’t quite comfortable but at least allowed her to loosen up a bit more and enjoy picking on R’nya with Kahleena. Peeking out from under her hat once again, Rhaedalyn giggled and nodded, “I think you’re right. I don’t know anything about wedding nights but I’d say he’s about as red as I was during my night with R’nd.” There had been a lot of blushing and too many tears but R’nd had been nothing but patient and a perfect gentleman. In a way, Rhaedalyn wondered if ladies were that lucky with their new husbands.
After adjusting her hat to sit properly, Rhaedalyn gave a delicate blush as she remembered the bluerider’s touch and how she was convinced Z’ia would be much the same way. The men were friends and both were kind and wonderful so how could Z’ia be anything but gentle and perfect in bed as well? A piece of cheese was picked up and Rhaedalyn munched on it happily while still watching R’nya. Surely his head wouldn’t explode from the heat his cheeks must be feeling, right? That would certainly ruin the day!
