The sceptical frown never left B’jin’s features as he watched R’nd, the bluerider’s confusion only causing B’jin’s own to deepen. He wasn’t quite sure where R’nd was going with the slowly spoken words he was speaking, but B’jin was pretty sure ‘winning’ was a one-person deal. Otherwise it was a draw, and that didn’t make any sense at all to the greenrider. The following babble (for surely R’nd was babbling, as it was clearly nonsense!) caused B’jin to snort out a soft breath of amusement, not quite a laugh but not all that far off being one.
“Greens don’t win blues,” B’jin pointed out reasonably, voice a soft murmur but clearly bemused, “blues win greens.” Really, it was simple math! Brown eyes were shadowed with confusion, and a hint of concern as he peered up at R’nd, wondering if the bluerider’s brain was still malfunctioning from their talk earlier.Entirely possible. his dragon quipped, and B’jin waved her away, shifting against his lover so he could lean on his chest and stare down at him, eyes narrowed just slightly with a thoughtful air. He kept their hands carefully entwined, shifting them gently and pressing a soft kiss to his lover’s knuckles.
“Sometimes,” B’jin said lightly, his voice riddled with affection, “You say the oddest things.” Leaning in, B’jin followed his statement with a tender kiss, and then placed a feathery light one on R’nd’s nose as he pulled away. The greenriders eyebrows arched upward as R’nd filled the space with more words, and a coy smile claiming his lips. “But I’m awake now,” B’jin purred, tone a mockery of a sulk as he curled suggestively against R’nd, eyes wide and innocent as the fingers of his free hand travelled lightly down R’nd’s chest.
Good Faranth, you’re pathetic! Contrary to her words, however, Larrikith’s voice was warm and teasing, filled with the same affection B’jin’s was as he leaned in close again, voice a rumbly whisper, breath warm. “You’re the best.” Could you filter any more innuendo into that? You might as well have said ‘I lov–‘ B’jin gave the dragon a mental shove, and she laughed as she returned her attention to snuggling against Ayyonth.
