Jajojin can be rather casual in his attire thanks again to the years spent in Katila with lack of resources. Given the heat that can beat down on them in the hotter months, he is often seen only in comfortable pants or shorts usually without a shirt if he can help it or a loose open button-up when he feels a need to be covered.

681 & 0: Jajojin is born, a product of a wild night after a gold flight.

682-690 & 1-9: Nothing out of the ordinary for a child growing up in a Weyr.

691-694 & 11-13: Begins Standing but continuously walks away without a dragon.

695 & 14: His mother is promoted to Weyrwoman after the current one retires from old age. By the end of the turn she rises and no one is surprised that his father wins the flight and becomes Weyrleader.

696 & 15: Finally Impresses and to a bronze! His parents are thrilled though they all believed he would get bronze.

698 & 17: Graduation! J’jin is excited to start taking on larger roles within the Weyr and tries his best to learn more about running the place from his father.

701 & 20: Starts to seriously consider asking for a transfer to another Weyr. He’ll never be able to have a shot at Weyrleader if his mother continues to stay Weyrwoman but ends up staying in order to learn more about the job so he’s ready for when he can win.

704 & 23: Has a one night stand with a reveler at a Telgar Hold’s gather. Apparently he got her pregnant but he wishes her well with the pregnancy and says he’ll be back in twelve turns to see if it’s a boy that can be Searched.

709 & 28: His father dies in a freak training exercise while going between. He never returns and no one knows what happened to cause it. His mother is inconsolable and steps down as Weyrwoman as she refuses to let another man win her flights and rule where her husband should still be. A new goldrider is selected.

711 & 30: J’jin wins the Weyrwoman’s flight and is immediately promoted to Weyrleader. Having grown up around the inner workings, he adapts well to the role and enjoys the power he has been working for.

712-715 & 31-34: Does well as Weyrleader and his people seem to enjoy him as their leader. A few flights over the turns are too close for his comfort but he still wins in the end which is all that matters.

716 & 35: The plague is working its way through the dragon population and the order is given to flee South. J’jin hesitates initially as he’s not one to run away from battles. However, the plague begins in earnest at Telgar and even claims his mother. He gives in and orders everyone South.

717-719 & 36-38: Not having a true mate that he loved, J’jin goes into exile with Taerian, his Weyrwoman. It’s better than being lonely and they always got along well enough.

720 & 39: At the start of the turn, Taerian goes out hunting alone in the early hours of morning and is attacked by a feline. J’jin finds her, still alive, but can’t do enough to save her as she dies from her wounds days later. The sudden loss of a human and dragon is hard as they had been their only companionship for turns. When the call to reunite is heard months later, J’jin jumps at the chance to be near people again and to be rid of the memories of exile.

721-726 & 40-45: J’jin is happy to see some of his former Weyr’s population had survived even the slimier ones like J’ver. He throws himself into helping to build Katila and offers leadership when needed as part of the committee of elder bronzeriders.

727 & 46: Nirinath finally rises and despite misgivings at ruling this particular Weyr and what to do with returning North or not, J’jin and Denath give chase but lose to D’ren and Ronarth.

728-731 & 47-50: The kidnapping of Candidates in the North is a bit distasteful but J’jin supports it all the same as they need men and women to Stand for any possible clutches. By this point, he fully believes they should be in the North once more and reigning proudly as they once had and listens in on conversations of others who think this way.

734 & 53: The landslide took more away than just huts. Denath went to help the youngest dragonets to get out of trouble and ended up getting caught up in another rush of mud with a building collapsing on him. He’s injured enough and pinned that he can do nothing more than say good bye to J’jin and wish him to continue on for them both before going between for the last time. The entire turn is spent piecing his mind back together and accepting he’s once more Jajojin and dragonless.

735 & 54: Still learning to function as a normal human again but beginning to interact with riders more regularly. He can’t spend too much time around dragons before he feels his loss too strongly and he refuses to let any dragon speak to him.

736 & 55: With the move North to reopen all of the Weyrs finally in full effect, Jajojin offers up his knowledge to mentor one of the younger bronzeriders that’s expected to be a Weyrleader. He’s run from his problems long enough and now it’s time to whip people into shape once more.

739 & 58: The Ista fires is something he can't directly help with, which is a good thing considering it adds to his anxiety and brings up memories of the landslide and losing Denath. He's sedated regularly during that time to help keep him calm as news continues to roll in. The year also sees Jajojin harassing R'nya into finding a way to get Madiquel into Healer Hall, though he doesn't like the idea of his daughter being so far away.

740 & 59: He's proud of Madiquel working hard at the Hall and visits when he can... until she Impresses accidentally at an Ista Hatching. Jajojin is beside himself with fear for her safety and though it took a week to get him on a dragon, he joins his daughter in Ista to be there for her in the early and difficult months.

741 - Present: Still living life as best as he can. Sometimes it's a blur of the past taking over, but the good days are exceptionally good.
