Feeling Green - J'me - 11.Apr.21

Normally I would be annoyed about having to carry people around on stupid errands, especially when I have to leave so early in the morning, but at least this healer wants to go to Benden tomorrow, and he'll be there long enough that I can have time to go pay a visit to T'drin.

I think I'll just surprise him. Stop on by, see if we can work up an appetite and get some lunch afterwards. Jam is not very pleased with the idea, I think she likes L'tri a bit more, but L'tri isn't in Benden to keep me entertained. And no, this doesn't make me some sort of ho, or even a stereotypical green, whatever that means. It's just taking advantage of a boring chore to have some fun.

Did not expect the flight to go like that. R'dal was nice though. Jam is upset she didn't get to pick who caught her. She still had fun and wasn't upset with her winner, but I know she'll want to practice a bit more flying now so that her precious ego doesn't get hurt again.

And speaking of that... I'm really glad she didn't get physicall hurt, especially after seeing what that brown did to Edath. Not sure when her next flight will be, but hopefully she decides to pick a day he's not around.

Knowing that losing a dragon hits you hard is one thing, it's another to see it happen to someone.

It's awful but I'm... excited? I think I'm excited. An entire gold dragon for study. I've been torn on whether I should study dragonhealing or not and this seems like a pretty clear sign that I should. This is too big of an opportunity to waste, I could learn so much from L'gan and the others and from this gold. I don't care if I have to do a lot of bitch work and ferry research notes and questions back and forth, I can't just pass this up. I'd probably feel more useful too, with all the other healers around and nothing terribly exciting going on, specializing in triage and emergency hasn't really been keeping me busy. And my experience with triage and emergency responses should be able to transfer over to dragons once I learn more there.

And maybe I can try to reassure R'dal a bit more if Edath gets hurt again and actually do something about it.
