What am I going to do?
Some of the dragonriders mentioned my name and that they ate muffins before they died and now some of the survivors think that makes sense and at least one has said it reminded him of my famous hangover muffins--and I don't share that recipe easily! And of course nothing stays between two people and the gossip is flying about how I'm a murderer and I've been targeting golds and bronzes for weeks because people are starting to take notice of what's happening in other Weyrs--like how Ista's Weyrwoman Ameris was poisoned by chocolates.
Sh'ran believes me when I tell him I'm innocent but Dyoricath is staring me down more than usual and screeched if I tried to give Sh'ran anything tonight when he came by with word. I like Sh'ran for many things and the interesting gossip he picks up is usually among that but now I'm stressed and not sure what I should do next.
How do I convince everyone I'm innocent? The Weyrleader being among the survivors is an added challenge as well.
