Well. This was not working as she had hoped. She’d got the proper ingredients, followed all of the directions, and yet, somehow, it still didn’t taste right…R’dal had been so keen on the stuff, and the few times she’d had it, it had been fantastic. She wanted to get it right so she could offer some the next time she saw the blue rider.
But this…was unacceptable. It was alright. It wasn’t as creamy, or as rich, and yet somehow it was still too sweet. She frowned in frustration and strode over to the table where she’d set up the ingredients for her little project, rummaging around for something that might improve her brew, all the while mentally cursing the lack of any suitable kitchens in the candidates’ barracks.
Why was making hot chocolate so difficult?
