735.11.09 | Limitless Wonder - Ameris - 10.Mar.15 Ameris sighed as she kicked a foot with boredom. She'd been stuck in the hatching ground since the moment Mizeath's new clutch had hit the sands and the solitary confinement was wearing thin on her. Rislan played with Mud near the gold where Mizeath lay napping and Ameris sighed again when she chanced a look. Ameris wish she could nap, a nap would be divine, but the day was far to young for something like that and the normally active woman couldn't bring herself to take a moment to close her eyes. The woman laughed at the sarcastic comment hidden within the prim and proper words. Mizeath had matured quite nicely and Ameris found the gold's personality to fit with her own easily. Even now there were times, though, that Ameris still felt Mizeath had made the wrong decision when choosing her but always the gold admonished her for the thoughts, driving them away with her limitless love. Ameris hummed with the force of Mizeath's love as the dragon slid it along their bond. The woman started hard and her body jerked when her hum was joined by that of Mizeath and Korutath, both dragon's looking to her with such human looking pride. Mizeath announced the beginning of her clutches new life. Mud buzzed with his hums as he sat atop Rislan's head. The child giggled with the vibrations as he climbed onto the arm of Mizeath. Ameris moved to take him away and leave him with a creche worker but Mizeath stayed her hand, stating the boy had every right to watch her children hatch. Eyes danced with merriment as Ameris moved to settle herself beside her son, snuggling the boy into her side. She wondered how long this hatching would take as she waited for the candidates to begin filing in, where they would stand around the neatly arranged eggs. Some hatchings were quick and without trouble and some were long and drawn out, ending in blood and ichor. She shuddered when she remembered the savagery of different hatchings. Even Mizeath's first had not been without blood flowing. Re: Limitless Wonder [Hatching] [N/PC] - Raigan - 12.Mar.15 He sat... And sat. He had arrived an hour before and been ushered to the stands where he sat waiting for these blasted eggs to hatch. Perhaps finding himself a ride to this strange southern Weyr had been a mistake. He found himself to be infinitely bored and quite out of place. Though the thought made him grimace, he couldn't help but think he should have allowed his wife to accompany him to watch this hatching. His first hatching and among strangers. Sure he knew, in passing, some of those from the north that had found themselves here as well but none he could or wanted to call friend. The minutes ticked by as Raigan looked about. The grounds had filled with riders and dragons, candidates waited patiently and impatiently and the hums of the various flying creatures filled his ears. The fire lizards were interesting and he vowed to get him one or two and he found he was still slightly in awe of the massiveness of the Dragons that surrounded them. Not at all like the runner beasts he raised and trained, something entirely different. The humming intensified, rattling his bones and Raigan shifted uncomfortably as he looked to the eggs. Finally they seemed to want to make an appearance. The Ambitious egg shook and rattled as a crack began to appear in the Forceful egg. A pop had Raigan on the edge of his seat as a foot suddenly appeared from the side of the Stable egg and was withdrawn so quickly the color could not be identified. The gold rumbled low as a tiny green body was suddenly sitting where the The Re: Limitless Wonder [Hatching] [N/PC] - R'nd - 13.Mar.15 Much to Ayyonth’s annoyance, R’nd decided to sleep in that day. He didn’t have any duties to fulfil that morning and B’jin had kept him up late the night before – though he certainly didn’t mind! It was Amorandii’s birthday but celebrations weren’t planned for later that day so extra sleep seemed like a fantastic idea given how much energy it took to keep up with the little princess and her friends, especially when they were on a sugar rush. And your point would be? They don’t need to know. It would only stress them out with trying to find something to give me and some of the ladies would be jealous or upset and it’s just not worth it. R’nd groaned at memories of the past where a few past lovers got him gifts at Turnover as a substitute for not knowing his birthday. It was incredibly kind of them but it had turned into a lot of bickering amongst the girls and he ended up being bombarded with questions about things that he liked. Ayyonth fell silent, ignoring the chance to poke fun at his rider again, which was odd enough for R’nd to finally sit up in bed and glance in the direction of where his dragon was sprawled in the sun. Before he could ask what was wrong, R’nd heard the humming from other dragons in the area that Ayyonth soon joined. R’nd laughed and finally got out of bed to prepare for a day he hadn’t been expecting. By the time he had freshened up, ate, and got the Hatching Ground, the eggs were still rocking but a few started to show cracks. He settled in, waving to friends and greeting those near him as Rell settled on his shoulder to watch the show with him. While only a few people knew it was his birthday, R’nd couldn’t help but be pleased that a Hatching was happening on it. He loved watching the event and seeing the dragonets meet the world for the first time and Impress to their life mates. There was something so pure about it all, even with the occasional bloodshed and injuries. When the show finally began and a green appeared first, R’nd shook his head at the reaction to some around him. Greens Impressing first was a sign of a bad Hatching to some but R’nd didn’t care what the colours were. He was just happy to see Impressions being made and happy pairs walking off together. Re: Limitless Wonder [Hatching] [N/PC] - DeeStar - 13.Mar.15 Kellian "Kel! Kel! Come on, the eggs are hatching! Get dressed girl!" The voice had come so suddenly that it had startled Kellian into a stunned silence until her friend grabbed her and all but dressed her in her robes herself. The contact left her jumping slightly but she laughed it off and finished changing into the traditional white robes and hurried after her friend and the other candidates as they made their way over to the new hatching sands. Once she arrived, she slowed herself and made sure she looked presentable. She may have only been a candidate, but that was no reason for her to look completely disheveled. She wasn't quite sure why she cared, but she knew her father was there watching and she did not want to reflect poorly on him, or L'ton either. It had nearly been a turn since the discovery that her friend L'ton was her brother, bit of an awkward heartbreak but she had finally gotten over that. It was an odd place for her to be, to go from an unwanted then parent-less, only child, to someone's daughter and sister. K'ton had been very nice to her, and she would consider herself friendly with him, more so than she initially had been at least. L'ton was still her friend, though it was still odd to see him as a brother and not just a friend. Having a family that cared and wanted her around was not something she was accustomed to, but she wanted to make them proud of her regardless. So she finished walked across the sands as a proper gold candidate should, though it was very hard for her to contain her excitement, as always. She stood waiting with the older girls, all waiting anxiously for the gold egg before them to crack open and then baby inside to greet the world and choose one of them as her bonded. Kellian was excited and nervous all at the same time, hopeful as always that she would be chosen. She knew of course it was not the last time she would be up for an Impression, she knew that this may not be the dragon for her and that there would always be another golden egg to stand for. However, she always walked onto the stands, hoping, really hoping, that that day, would be her day. Her excitement grew as she heard excited voices from across the sands where some of the other eggs had started to hatch. She saw two greens hatch, and then a third that ran off and collided with her sisters before a couple of them Impressed. She didn't know which dragon Impressed which boy, but it didn't really matter. The next dragon she saw was a blue that seemed to be having a grand time stomping around in circles, crushing what was left of his shell. She let out a soft "Ooo.", as a nice brown hatched, though she flinched when he made a swipe for the last blue that hatched. She couldn't help but smile at the antics of the hatchlings, and bounced a bit on the balls of her feet, waiting for others to hatch, especially the gold. Re: Limitless Wonder [Hatching] [N/PC] - Vaeyla - 14.Mar.15 "No." "Yes." "I don't want to." "Yes. You do." "No...I really don't" "Ameris will be upset." A bundled up white robe was shoved at her once again. She took it with glaring eyes and said, "That is cheating." He had grinned at her then, that cocky grin she hated, yet at the same time loved and missed. He had won, and he knew he had won. It wasn't fair. "Is it working?", K'ton asked, a teasing tone to his voice. Her answer was more glaring and smacking him as hard as she could with the robe he had given back to her, then storming off to change, refusing to answer him. She was followed by his laughter and the chirping and whistling of both firelizards, who apparently thought their humans were terribly entertaining. A while later she was there on the sands, shooting one last glare at K'ton as he grinned at her, both Serene and Digger perched on his shoulders. She rolled her eyes and sighed, taking her place among the other girls waiting for the gold egg before them to hatch. Once again she was there, half heartedly mind you, but there just the same, waiting to see if this would be her time to Impress. At this point she would be happy to Impress the sharding shell the dragon fell out of, but she wasn't telling anyone else that. After the first couple of greens hatched, she couldn't help but get caught up in the excitement that everyone felt at a hatching. She laughed at the antics of the greens, flinching only slightly when one of them ran head first into the others. None of them seemed injured however, and it had caused a couple of them to find their bondeds all that much sooner. She saw the first blue that hatched head right off to find it's bonded, while the next blue caused her to giggle. It stomped around in circles, apparently destroying the egg which had held it captive for so long. She supposed she would want to do the same, had she been a baby dragon. The brown that came next was a handsome little fella, but not nearly as handsome as Ironth or even Kaliqueth in her opinion, though her favor always fell to Ironth. She was sure he would turn out to be a good brown, though apparently he was a bit feisty, as he took a swipe at his brother when he went by before going off to find his own bonded. She gave a soft sigh as her dark eyed gaze when from those hatchlings to the golden egg before her, wondering, waiting, and daring to hope just a little. Re: Limitless Wonder [Hatching] [N/PC] - Ameris - 14.Mar.15 The hums of the dragons were both soothing and exhilarating as Ameris watched the hatching of Mizeath's second clutch. The excitement was a solid thing as the first of the hatchlings made their appearance and chose those they would spend their lives with. Her mouth drew down at the mutters of a green hatching first, a slight disappointment fluttering in her breast, one that was quickly squashed as she caught a glimpse of the delight on her son's face as he watched the clumsy greens tumble and fall. One day he would stand amongst the crowd of candidates waiting for his own dragon. She had secret wishes that her son would impress bronze and one from Mizeath, but she would delight in any hatchling that chose Rislan. The air charged as those present waited as the Gracious egg shuddered so violently that it toppled and rolled. A crack appeared along the bottom, tracing out into an intricate pattern of fissures. With a push of hind legs, the first bronze of the clutch made his appearance. Ameris couldn't suppress the laughter that bubbled up as Shooting a quick and curious look at his trapped brother, the brown marched with determination to the boys. A few chuckles sounded as the bronze hopped in place, trying to rid himself of the shell that did not want to budge. With an angry shriek, Two greens quickly made themselves known as the While her siblings had their spat, Ameris shook her head at the antics of the hatchlings. She never would understand their need to do things so difficultly. Why in the world couldn't they just get on with it? Make it snappy? This bronze, Re: Limitless Wonder [Hatching] [N/PC] - T'drin - 17.Mar.15 T'drin leaned against the stands as he watched the procession of eggs hatch and the dragonets impress their chosen. After the last egg had hatched a lull seemed to descend on the grounds as those present waited for the remaining eggs to burst with the dragonets still waiting. Eggs shifted and shuddered but nothing seemed to progress as the bronzerider yawned with boredom. Generally, T'drin enjoyed a good hatching but as of late he and Gelabrith had taken to discussing the issues he faced lately far into the night. T'rdin straightened to get a better look. Nearly an hour had past since the last batch had hatched and the rider wondered what was in store for them with this bunch. The Impulsive egg shook violently, sending itself tumbling away and minute cracks began to appear along the shell of Defiant egg, but it was the Lively egg that spewed forth it's cargo first. The Inflexible split down the middle and a The small He did not have to wait long for the crack widened and grew, breaking the golden shell into pieces. A rather plain looking Re: Limitless Wonder [Hatching] [N/PC] - DeeStar - 17.Mar.15 Kellian Kellian was having a grand time watching all of the eggs crack and shatter, spilling forth hatchling after hatchling. The ensuing antics of said hatchlings was just as amusing for her, though she kept a keen eye on the egg before her, the gold hardly appeared ready to introduce herself. She had yet to see the golden egg so much a wiggle on the hot sand. She turned her gaze away from the gold egg in time to see one egg shudder and topple over. She winced slightly, then giggles as most everyone did as the poor hatchling sat there with it's remaining shell stuck on it's head. She wasn't quite sure from where she was what color it was but she did kind of feel badly for it. She wouldn't want to be sitting on hot sand with a shell on her head, it was bad enough that they had to stand on the hot sands for hours waiting for dragons to hatch. Why couldn't they hatch in the shade somewhere, with a breeze? A very nice brown hatched, while the other dragon was trying to get his shell off, and started for the boys standing there. A bronze was what was hidden under the shell, he had finally got out from under his shell and took off for the boys as well. A couple more greens hatched and Kellian gave a soft, "Ooo", as even for greens they were rather pretty, though the first couple seemed to take their sweet time Impressing. Kellian gave a shrug at that, to no one and nothing in particular. So long as they didn't go Between she supposed it didn't matter how long the hatchlings took, or did it? She was sure she didn't know, what she did know was she was glad she wasn't a boy. She visibly flinched as she caught sight of a green who had run after a blue on unsteady legs. The aftermath wasn't pretty as the green collided with a group of boys too silly to get out of her way. Kellian had taken her eyes off of the hatchlings and for a while looked at the gold egg again. She was still unmoving, and still seemed content to rest within her shell, stubbornly making them all wait. It amused her to some point, but she would really rather see the beauty within, see which one of them she chose. Instead however, her attention was drawn again to the other eggs that were hatching. The Impressions seem to halt with the last two, a bronze and blue, finally stopped running around and made their bonds and were walked off the sands to eat. An hour later the small girl yawned and shifted her warm feet. It seemed to be forever since the last eggs hatched, and there they all were....still waiting for something...anything to happen. Finally an egg started to rock and wobble and before she knew it there were two browns hatched and made their bonds, followed by the hatching of a couple of nice blues and a green that went careening around the sands, and straight into the gold egg. She didn't know why, but she gasped out loud and clapped a hand over her mouth, apparently thinking the dragon within was too fragile for such an impact. The egg seemed to be fine however and after a moment she took her eyes off the gleaming shell to see a blue and brown Impress. One of the other girls gasped and she snapped her head back to see the gold shell start to crack. Kellian forgot all about the other hatchlings as she waiting for the egg to finally split and reveal the queen inside. It wasn't long after the gold egg started to crack, that the shell cracked more, than shattered. A very plain and simple looking gold tumbled out onto the sand. Her eyes didn't leave the gold as she sat there with an air of importance, looking at them all, her eyes whirling. She finally moved forward, ignoring the few girls that tried to get in her way, to try and Impress. That make her smirk a little, even though she wasn't walking towards her. She gave a little gasp as she watched the hatchling tumble apparently right into the waiting arms of her bonded. She cheered her congratulations as they moved to leave the sands so the girl could feed her new bonded. Re: Limitless Wonder [Hatching] [N/PC] - Vaeyla - 17.Mar.15 Vee stood watching as dragon after dragon hatched, blues, greens, and browns, as well as a couple bronzes. Overall there was a nice mixture of color on the sands, and the antics of the hatchlings were enough to keep her entertained for hours. Every so often she would glance back at the still golden egg and wonder about the dragon inside. Then she decided wondering about a dragon she wasn't going to Impress was useless and in the same breath chastised herself for being so melancholy. She gave a little sigh as she looked at the still gold egg again, willing her to hatch but knew that like most golds, she would hatch when she was damn good and ready to do so. She shifted her feet and crossed her arm over her middle as she turned her head to watch some of the boys Impress their dragons. There were so many of them that she began to wonder how long the hatching would take, though for her it would be over as soon as the gold chose one of them. Which was usually okay with her, the sands were hot and standing there for so long could sometimes be unbearable. Lost in her thoughts as she was, she missed the initial hatching of a bronze, but heard the laughter from all around and turned to look and had to laugh just a little as the poor thing had half his shell stuck on his head. She took her eyes from his to see a very nice brown hatch and go off to find his bonded. There was another round of laughter as the bronze hopped up and down to try and free himself of the annoying shell on his head. He finally managed it and went off to find his bonded just before a pair of greens hatched, followed by two more greens, one of which took a bit of a tumble when she hatched. Vee always felt bad when they fell or tripped over themselves. They were so wobbly! Luckily most of the time it was bruised pride and minor damages, but she still felt bad. She watched as several greens hatched and made themselves known, followed by two more blues. Apparently one of them had upset one of the greens as she went screeching after one of the blues, resulting in her losing control of her legs and collided with a group of boys, apparently taking several of them down. She winced slightly at that. Apparently the healers would be kept busy today, tending cuts and scrapes on both human and dragon bodies. She had to admit, that at least the antics of the blues and greens were such that it made the long wait for the gold egg easier to bear. Things settled down after the last couple hatchlings bonded and were led off the sands, and then they waited for more eggs to hatch. It was nearly an hour or so later that something finally started happening again. All the boys that were left came to attention quickly as an egg started to shake about rather violently. The egg fell over and rolled across the sands, the next thing she knew there was a brown up and moving. She saw another brown and a pair of blues, then there was suddenly a screening green who apparently was upset about something. She had gone running, as much as hatchling can, then tripped and fell into the gold egg. She gave an audible gasp and actually took a step, then stopped, waiting to see if the gold egg would crack. She wouldn't risk trying to help the green, she just hoped it wasn't hurt. She missed the rest of the hatchings across the sands, as her eyes were on the crack that suddenly went up the side of the gold egg. All the girls were on alert, all waiting with breath held and eyes shining. The crack in the pale shell continued to grow and even Vee found herself holding her breath. When the shell finally broke a pale gold dragon greeted them by tumbling out onto the sand. The gold sat there where she landed, her eyes whirling madly as she looked at all the girls standing there. Vee had long ago uncrossed her arms and was now lightly tapping her fingers on her legs as the gold hatchlings apparently took her sweet time considering them all. It was unnerving the way she looked at them, though it was slightly amusing as well. She was in no rush to choose someone like some of her siblings had been. She shifted her feet as she waited, and soon enough the pale little gold moved toward them all. She frowned slightly, annoyed that some of the girls thought to get in her way, to crowd her, hoping to make an Impression. Didn't they know she likely already knew which one of them she wanted? She never did understand it, rushing the hatchlings, trying to force an Impression. She was so used to being passed over at this point, that when the gold sidestepped the other girls and came in her general direction she glanced at the girls that were near her, who instantly crowded around her. She huffed and rolled her eyes at them, turning her gaze back to the gold. She was awfully close to them, nearly upon her and the other girls by her. She actually felt her heart jump as the hope welled up inside her just a bit. Then the gold tripped. Tripped on those ridiculously unstable legs, and gave a sharp cry as she hit the sand, right at her feet. The girls beside her gasped then both darted forward, but before she even realized what she was doing and without even thinking about it, Vee had dropped to her knees in the hot sand and scooped up the pale queen, using part of her robe to wipe away the sand stuck to her nose. The gold tilted her head slightly and Vee let out an audible gasp as she realized what was happening. Dark eyes met with whirling rainbow colored eyes and she felt full of warmth and adoration flood her heart as hot tears sprung to her eyes. Somewhere behind her or off to the side of her, she wasn't quite sure, she she thought she heard a rather loud whooping yell, but then again there was always a lot of ruckus when dragons Impressed. "Me?", she asked rather stupidly as she finished wiping the sand from the hatchlings face, marveling in the fact that there was a baby gold dragon resting her head on her leg. Of course you. Why wouldn't I chose you? Why not indeed. Her lip trembled ever so slightly as a couple tears dripped down her cheeks. She had mostly given up ever Impressing, and for a moment she wasn't sure that she wasn't just standing there daydreaming that this had happened. That she had zoned out and someone else was actually walking off with Nadioth, rather than her sitting at her feet. Nadioth...she knew her name! Amusement coiled with a severe hunger that was rapidly growing. Why would you think I would choose any of those airheaded women over you? And of course you know my name, as I know yours Vaeyla. Nadioth stood and purposefully, but gently, knocked the underside of Vee's chin with her nose, causing the dark haired woman to give an, "Oof.", before rubbing her chin. "What was that for?", she said, narrowing her eyes slightly. Because you are being ridiculous and I am hungry...and dirty.., the last bit add as she turned to walk away, picking her way through the sands as delicately as possible, wiggling the sand free from her feet with every step, leaving Vee standing now, but no less shocked. She shook her head and let herself smile and believe what she was seeing and feeling. Are you coming? Her heart was racing even before she ran to catch up with her dragon, to lead her off the sands, a hand gently touching her shoulder to keep her steady. Her dragon! "Yes yes, I am coming Nadioth.", she said as she wiped her eyes quickly before searching the stands for K'ton, who she found beaming with something that looked like pride, before finally leaving. She was never going to hear the end of it. Re: Limitless Wonder [Hatching] [N/PC] - Ameris - 25.Mar.15 She watched, preoccupied, as one after another the hatchlings made choices and were lead off the sands. She clapped when needed and made noises at the antics but it was the gold egg that had her attention as it begun to crack. The occupant spilling forth and to begin marching her way to the girls waiting her presence. Who would join the ranks as Katila's newest goldrider? She studied the pale gold hatchling as she stomped along in search. And chuckled quietly when the smart gold took a header just in front of the girls. Rislan giggled loudly at the clumsy queen and Ameris glanced at her son with a smile as a crow was let loose and she snapped her head back to the hatching. The crow had come from K'ton, Ameris easily recognizing her friends voice and the woman saw why. The pale gold had chosen Vaelya to be hers and Ameris cheered and clapped loudly for her friend. She always knew that the perfect hatchling was waiting for Vaelya though the other woman had despaired of ever impressing. As she watched the newest pair make their way from the sands a new ruckus sounded as another hatchling made themselves known. The Two more greens showed themselves as the The pair wrestled with each other as they fought to their feet and finally the The finally egg to hatch, Ameris sighed heavily at the loss of a bronze dragonets. Fresh dragonets were always welcome and bronzes more so. But what could they do? She thought as she dropped from Mizeath's arm to swing Rislan to her shoulders with a oomph. The boy was getting far to big for that but she kept him where he was as Mud buzzed around them. Leaving L'varl and Korutath to dispose of the unmatched eggs, Ameris made her way to congratulate those newly impressed, with a quick stop to squeal over Vaelya's young gold of course. Re: Limitless Wonder [Hatching] [N/PC] - R'nd - 26.Mar.15 Overall, the Hatching went rather well and R’nd found himself smiling for the vast majority of it. Of course there were a few tense moments when the dragonets clashed or got a bit too rowdy near a Candidate but he was pleased with how smooth it all went and couldn’t wait to go congratulate everyone afterwards since most were new friends he had recently made. Unfortunately the Hatching ended on a bit of a low note when the bronze dragonet couldn’t find the boy meant for him and vanished between. R’nd bowed his head in a moment of silence for the poor creature and Ayyonth lent his voice to Mizeath in a keel of mourning. It was always hard to watch it happen and R’nd didn’t think it’d ever get any easier but at least a young boy hadn’t bonded and gone with the dragonet or had to suffer through dealing with the loss of his bonded. Now that the North was open to them once more, some of the dragonless riders that managed to survive were sharing stories and it broke R’nd’s heart over and over. “Congratulations, Vaeyla!” R’nd gave her a quick hug, not wanting to upset the little gold with too much contact, and smiled at the new pair, “I never doubted for a moment that this day would come for you. I will likely help out in some of your classes but hopefully we can chat some more before that. I don’t want to take up too much of your time right now.” He stole another hug with a laugh and then turned to Ameris, smile somehow even brighter. “And you, my lady,” R’nd paused long enough to realize Ameris was carrying her son and changed tactics before he ended up twirling the pair of them around in his happy embrace. Instead, he slid an arm around her waist and kissed her cheek, voice lowering as he explained, “congratulations on an excellent Hatching and thank you for such a wonderful gift on this day.” R’nd detangled himself from Ameris and bowed to the goldriders, “now, if you’ll excuse me, ladies, I’ll leave you to your celebrations.” As he walked away, still beaming, Ayyonth reached out to Mizeath to cautiously explain his rider’s odd antics without exactly spilling the beans either. Re: Limitless Wonder [Hatching] [N/PC] - Vaeyla - 31.Mar.15 Vee still had shimmering tears in her eyes as she led Nadioth off to join the others who had Impressed and who were now feeding their hatchlings. Hunger coiled painfully in her belly as Nadioth rushed forward toward the provided meat, snapping at one of her sisters, tail lashing out behind her. Vee rushed forward, nearly tripping on said golden tail, apologizing to the boy whose green Nadioth had snapped at. "Nadioth!", she hissed, terribly embarrassed by her behavior. "That was not nice!", she chastised the gold who snorted and snapped her teeth down on a chunk of meat before Vee could pull her away and to the side, container of meat in hand. Vee stood from where she was, hand still on Nadioth's head as she heard all the cries of the gathered dragons. She nelt back down and gathered Nadioth to her and hugged her tightly, trying to calm her as the gold cried for her lost sibling. Vee had hoped to never hear such keening again, it was heartbreaking though she knew it did occasionally happen. Soon enough the last of the hatchlings were fed and people who making their way over, giving congratulations. When Ameris came up to her to congratulate her she gave her a hug and came away with shining eyes again. Just as soon as she had finished hugging Ameris she was swept up into another hug that she hadn't expected. She gave a squeak then laughed and returned the hug when she realized who it was. She beamed at R'nd tho flushed a bit at his words. "Well that makes one of us.", she answered quietly with a faint smile but brightened a bit at his suggest. "Oh, sure. I would like that.", she answered with a nod while Nadioth watched him quietly from where she was curled around Vee's legs. She gave another laugh and returned the second hug before he spoke to Ameris. She turned back to Ameris and Rislan and instantly wished she had Evritt in her arms. She would see him soon enough and be able to introduce him to Nadioth. For now she gave her friend a sheepish grin and said, "Pinch me?" |
