Picking up the Pieces [Bordtai] - N'kal - 10.Dec.13
It hadn't taken Torath and N'kal long to catch up to Bordtai, even with the awkward gait of a land bound dragon. Said dragon expressed his desire to ensure the hatchlings all made it to the barracks, and after lightly nudging the boy with his snout, ambled off to do just that. He would leave the humans to deal with each other, he had his children to look out for, at least for the moment.
"Bordtai.", the bronzerider started quietly. He wasn't sure what to say to the boy, who once again failed to Impress. He felt bad for him, though many candidates failed to Impress time and time again, there was nothing that could or would change that. He did know however that the boy had been considered by a couple different dragons from Torath's own clutch, and it seemed to hit the boy pretty hard. He followed the boy a few paces before he matched his stride.
"We should get those scratches cleaned up.", he said after a bit. He walked beside the young boy, hands clasped casually behind him, quiet for the most part. He looked up at the still dark sky and heaved a sigh as he tried to decide once again, what to say to make the kid feel better. He wasn't very good at being social in the first place, however, he was even worse at trying to be a comfort. He vaguely remembered how to comfort a woman, but men were different. They didn't need comfort, not like women did.
