Moonlight serenade (Open) - Ah'nin - 09.Jun.13
Sleep. Lovely sleep. Ah’nin had been blissfully experiencing the state until a few moments ago, but now found himself wide awake at way-too-damn-early in the morning and straining to figure out what had woken him. He tended to be a light sleeper by both nature and experience, in contrast to his dragon, and it wasn’t unknown for the most innocuous noises to rouse him.
Ah, there. The scuffling sound repeated itself and Ah’nin eased out of bed. Staying low, he scuttled over to his window and poked his head up to carefully peer outside. Paranoid? Maybe. But he was still alive to be so. It was too early to tell if the paranoia was justified because the (man?) outside hadn’t done anything yet, other than to sway and stagger slightly in the manner of the Clearly Drunk having an argument with Stability.
Caution turned to stunned horror when the fool opened his mouth and began to sing- some kind of Faranth-forsaken soppy love ballad. He had better have the wrong hut. Ah’nin throught grimly as he marched outside, intent on shooing off the unwelcome visitor before it woke Delkemth. He’d much rather be able to helpfully point the drunken suitor off to bother some other poor sap than have to dissuade an interest in his own self.
Not that he minded such a thing, as a rule, but he generally preferred to be well-rested and that his partner be a little less than Stupidly Drunk.
