A new notice has appeared, neatly nailed over the previous one.
“Citizens of Katila,
As of 16.11.232, Brownrider S’kef of Tyrrisath will assume the position of acting Weyrleader. Bronzerider D’ren remains in critical condition. In the event that he cannot resume his office, S’kef will retain the position of Weyrleader for the remainder of D’ren’s term.
Acting Weyrleader S’kef has ordered an investigation in the attempted murder of Bronzerider D’ren. Any citizen with any information is encouraged to come forward.”
