I think... OMYGOSH!! I must admit I'm a little scurd.. I mean.. scared. I haven't really been here long enough to really get to know a lot of the characters but I do have a general idea on most of them after reading a few threads..
I'm afraid mostly because of the ripple effect that might happen.. With D'ren out someone had to take his place right? I'm not to sure on N'glet(hope I spelled that right.. Still learning all the names).. I haven't read any threads with him in it so.. I've no idea on his personality just yet.. With the way things are in the weyr a new weyr leader stepping in could set the whole balance.. off.
I read somewhere earlier that the lower ranks were being.. what's the word? Uhm.. They're not being seen as real.. uhm.. people? No.. that's not it.. real.. important maybe? They're being looked down on. With a new weyrleader stepping in even if it's temporary or if it's permanent.. I'm afraid of the repercussions that will follow for many other characters. It'll be fun plottings! <3 but at the same time I'm nervous.. Cause technically I fall under that category of 'unimportant'. *bites lip*
It's not enough to scare me away however.. I'm just a little afraid for my fresh character.
Hmm. Also.. I have a FEW speculations as to who might poison the weyr leader.. Just a little.. Guess but I'm not sure enough of it to voice it just yet XD that is IF we ever get to find out.. I hope we do! it'll be fun following those plots to try and guess! <3

Oh thank you! Just let me say... YAY but oh my gosh in the same breath.. There is one person I want to point at for the whole poisoning thing.. but I want more clues to be certain first! I'm excited to do some poking around and see who says what.. >_< I'm a horrible mystery solver honest.. but I like them anyway! Uhm my current thoughts on the happenings?
I'm a little mad that S'kef is in charge.. well because even though I haven't had the (dis)pleasure of having my character under his... ( I'm going to call it EVAL) eye? I'm pretty sure he's a self serving bastard and I'm also pretty sure that the weyr is going to be turned upside down.. (that was already said in the announcements me thinks..) but I'm mad about it..
Though the whole part about returning north and removing Tsuen from power is.. intriguing.. I'm not sure I understand his motives behind that.. Well aside from the fact that he might mean to plant himself in total power.. On top of using his position once moving to the north to shall we say.. Influence.. the northerners to do as he wants.. Or his side.. Just speculations >.<

His move to take Tsuen out of power and move north could also be a political strategy to rally the northeners who feel like they have been mistreated over to his 'side'.
Apari is terrified of the idea of going 'back home' however and is very uncomfortable with the situation. Add to it the rumor's she's heard of S'kef and the whole situation has her scared.

Seijin doesn't like it at all. He's not sure how anyone would get close to the weyrleader to poison him but someone who does food preparation might that's served to him. Course S'kef might of painted a target on himself if the person who poisoned D'ren decides to poison him to not get found out.

That would be pretty cool, S'kef being poisoned. Awesome actually (lol, I would laugh as S'kef.). But from everything I've gleaned ooc just reading the mystery 'rules' and some little bits 'IC' in the plot threads makes me believe that poisoning D'ren was a political move to get S'kef in power.
If I'm wrong, sweeeetness.. But then why was the poisoning done? I suspect I'm going to have to wait for answers XD darn it. ;D So happeh!
Though... Maybe S'kef made a deal with someone a northener or.. I think that's a little out there.. never mind! Ignore that rammbly bit. I'm still thinking on it.. >.<

D’hys is a likely suspect. S'kef did not know it was going to happen but jumped at the opportunity it presented to him. He threatened N'gelts family if he did not cooperate with his plans. That's it so far.
