Soak out the tension [OPEN] - Sthor - 21.Nov.12

It wasn’t exactly late in the day, but it was later in the day than S’thor had originally intended on coming to the bath house. He’d meant to do this earlier but he’d had to repair things around his hut, bath Idenorth, and generally avoid people he didn’t want to speak with. That had taken more skill today than normal, and had even caused S’thor to hide in a cramped space for Faranth knows how fucking long. S’thor calmly slunk into the first hallway of the bathing house and stole a clean towel from one of the chairs in the hallway, paying no heed should it have belonging to someone else.

”What a fucking day.” The brownrider dredged through the hallway of the bathing house, his dark eyes scanning indifferently for any open door to slip through. He caught the edge of the one of the room’s doors quickly and peered inside. As he stepped through the archway, S’thor shrugged the towel off his shoulder and deftly into his hand before he threw it onto the edge of the pool. His clothes quickly ended up in the middle of the floor and he kicked them into a hapless pile before plunging deep into the warm waters—forgetting completely he had left the door open.

S’thor sunk completely naked into the tub, all but his head immersed into the water and he rubbed his face with his hand. The brownrider was stressed, not that that was new but with Idenorth’s constant prodding for socialization and S’thor’s lack of want to do so, he had been spending more time blocked Idenorth out than he had speaking with his dragon and the effort was beginning to take a toll. If only the fucking thing would shut up once in a while, and stop nagging… like a woman. Subconsciously, S’thor groaned as he heard the sounds of laughter vibrating againt the adjacent wall of the room. With a roll of his eyes, S'thor sunk deeper until his ears were covered. He closed his eyes as quiet finally took over and proceed to float about the rest of the pool in calmness.

Re: Soak out the tension [OPEN] - V'ra - 21.Nov.12

Indivara was one of those people that loved to bathe; she did so at least once a day, and in the summer, was known to bathe several times a day if she could get away with it. Despite the fact that Indivara was well known to become rather grimy, never above any particular task and still retaining her youthful desire to climb trees and paint Grith, Indivara still enjoyed being clean. Most particularly, she enjoyed realigning baths at the end of an otherwise long day.

Today was no different, and the young woman made her way casually through the  bathing houses without any real destination in mind. She waved casually at one of the blueriders that flashed her a smile in the hall, but continued on. She wasn't interested in the young man's attention and made such known clearly when she pointedly ignored his attempt to catch her in a conversation. Rolling her eyes in amusement, Indivara continued further until she came upon an open door. Perfect!

Walking in quietly, one hand was reaching behind her to close the door when the girl's clear blue gaze took in the form of someone soaking in the tub, eyes closed and features apparently relaxing (or attempting to). Indivara paused for a moment, then smirked, her lips twisting up deviously as she quietly closed the door and leaned against it, arms crossed over her chest, and one foot raised to press the flat of her boot against the wall behind her. Indivara was still very much dressed, her pants and short sleeve top stained with dirt and paint, though whether from the task she had been undergoing or if they were just genuinely dirty clothes she used for whatever task she'd been up to that day was unknown. Her hands were clean, though Indivara had a tendency to wash them regularly.

The girl made no motion, and made no attempt to open a conversation; instead, she continued to stare at S'thor with a smirk until the moment she knew would eventually come, where he would feel that creeping recognition of being watched and see her. Indivara's smirk grew.

Re: Soak out the tension - Sthor - 28.Nov.12

S’thor could feel the stress melting from his muscles as all the sounds of the bathing house disappeared beneath the impenetrable silence of the water around him. His dark eyes closed and his muscles physically relaxed, he float on top of the water, revealing more of himself than he would have intended would he had known he had company. It did not take long, however, for the eerie feeling of being watched tickled his exposed skin. Only slightly concerned, as who would really walk into an occupied bathing house that was what closed doors were for after all, S’thor slowly opened his eyes to find an unfamiliar form against the closed doorway?

Surprised, S’thor flailed awkwardly and sunk unintentionally beneath the surface. As he regained his footing on the bottom of the pool he pulled himself up, choking on the water he had inadvertently breathed in. S’thor choked, one eye focused on the strange woman in his bath house. “Can I help you?” He growled the syllables between coughing fits as water sloughed off of him, cascading over taught muscles. S’thor occasionally wiped the water from his face as droplets fell from what little hair he had.

Re: Soak out the tension [OPEN] - V'ra - 28.Nov.12

Indivara was shameless. Anyone that knew her, knew that. Bright blue eyes sparkled mischievously as her gaze eagerly took in the exposed body of the lazily floating dragonrider. Being a gossip, and a bit of a whore, Indivara was not unaware of who the man was, or the dragon he rode. However, while she could recall his name, and the colour of his beast, the girl was having trouble recalling the dragon's name. Not that it mattered, really. If he wasn't inclined to be painted or hang out with Grith, Indivara was less inclined to bother with the creature.

Then the man was flailing, water was flying, and Indivara's eyebrows shot upward, pulling at her scarred features before peals of laughter rolled from the young woman's lips. Pushing herself up and off the door frame, bright blue eyes sparkled deviously as the man choked out something that almost sounded like a question. Indivara folded her arms under her chest, an arrogant expression filling her features. "Oh, I'm sure you could." She purred mischievously, her amusement far too obvious.

Re: Soak out the tension [OPEN] - Rhaedalyn - 28.Nov.12

Rhaedalyn had just finished her own bath down the hall and was preparing to head back to her room for the evening. She had grabbed a few articles of clothing from the Crafting Hall earlier to mend on her own time as such a task kept her hands busy but let her mind wander as it liked to do. So it was always the perfect way to end a day that involved running around the weyr for lessons or chores. Her roommate likely thought she was crazy for always bringing a chore home with her but Rhaedalyn never saw it as anything more than keeping herself busy and her craft sharp.

With a final twist of the towel, her mop of wet curly hair was wrapped up atop her head. A comfortable dress had been slipped into before that, one that covered her limbs and kept the heat of the long bath trapped against her skin on cool evenings. It was absolutely perfect and as she gathered up the rest of her belongings, Rhaedalyn decided it would make for nice gifts for some of her female friends. Who wouldn’t want something snugly to wrap up in after a bath?

As she made her way down the hall, some splashing in a closed off room caught her attention. It was likely some weyrbrats playing around but there was always a chance someone was trouble! She moved closer to the door and was about to open it to see if everyone was okay when she heard a woman laugh. Her hand was quickly snatched away from the handle and it was soon covering her mouth as if she had just overheard something scandalous when the woman purred out an answer to a question she didn’t hear. What was going on in there? Who was in there? Too weak to resist, Rhaedalyn leaned in close to the door to see if she could catch more of the conversation and figure out who was in there.
