B'jin was sprawled at his desk, his chin in hand as he stared in boredom at the class of pre-teens currently answering the questions written on the chalkboard behind him. Testing their knowledge was his most boring class. B'jin personally enjoyed the more interactive classes where everyone got to be loud and mess around. He'd also learned early in his career that the more fun the class, the better his students learned. Unfortunately, no matter how he educated them, they still had to undergo their tests in the same manner. Silent, and boring. The teacher was probably huffing out more sighs than the students - much to their amusement.

He'd been in such an amazing mood that morning, too! Larrikith had even let him sleep in! And when he'd awoken, with just enough time to prepare before dropping into the class, he'd been practically bouncing as he entered the room. The children had been ecstatic, for surely such a display meant a good lesson. It would have been, too, if one of the other Harper's hadn't been making the rounds reminding everyone that today was test day and that the tests had to be done and some shit about the Weyrleaders wanting to be up to date on the education levels of the children in the weyr. Or something. B'jin had stopped listening after the word "test" (much to his student's amusement) and stared at the message bearer like they were a rabid wher (much to his student's amusement) before pouting (to their laughter) and sulkily writing the given questions on the chalk board.

Then he'd taken a seat at his desk and huffed and sighed for the past hour. The greenrider was mid grumble when a deliciously warm shiver trailed down his spine, and brown eyes opened wide in surprise. A couple of the front row student's looked up in amusement when he stopped grumbling to himself, then frowned at him. One of the older boys sat back in his seat with an expression of wicked amusement as he watched B'jin, while a couple of the other's simply looked mildly confused. The older boy winked at the two others, and the three of them smirked, just as Larrikith's shriek filled the air. B'jin's eyes just about popped as he suddenly flung himself up from his desk, chair skittering backwards.

"OUT!" B'jin wasn't usually one to issue commands so loudly or with such conviction. It startled most of his class, who had actually been paying more attention to their tests than to their teacher. The boy at the front burst into laughter as he stood up and ushered the rest of the confused class out of their seats, "Larrikith is Flying!" The pre-teen explained, grinning as the rest of the class caught on, and knowing looks were tossed at their teacher as they all skittered from the room, skirting a couple of early contestants as they slipped inside. Honestly! How did they find their way so swiftly?!

B'jin slipped under the arms of one overly eager bluerider and across the classroom, stopping when he reached the door that lead into the small office he claimed, eyeing the two other men with trepidation. A blue- and a brownrider, but neither he could name as Larrikith's lust slammed into him, her challenge ripping through the air once more before the round, green dragon shot into the sky from where she'd been resting in the sun beside the wall of B'jin's classroom.

Green wings spread wide, she shot up into the morning sky, twisting away to the left without warning and skimming over the rooftops with little to no space. A moment later, she was shooting straight upward, leaving behind the blue and brown who had thought they were so clever, hissing over her shoulder as she vanished into a fluffy white cloud. She appeared on the other side in a burst, and twisting dramatically again, twisted almost forty-five degrees to shoot off in a random direction, another self satisfied shriek of challenge bellowing from her tiny form. They thought they could catch her!?

Larrikith would have laughed at them, but she was somewhat occupied with vanishing into another cloud, and bursting out the side at random, and heading once more in a completely different direction, crowing her delight at the floundering the larger dragons were subjected to as they attempted to follow her, or were taken by surprise at her changes.

B'jin, filled with his dragon's self assured arrogance, glared condescendingly at the men and women that shifted and wove together before him, echoing their dragon's movements without realising it.

Larrikith flies, Ayyonth announced in a lazy tone accompanied by a yawn. He was sprawled out in his hollow, enjoying the rays of the slowly warming sun. It was nice to see the start of the weather improving once again; not like winter was bad at Katila but still cooler than he preferred for sunbathing.

Oh? Are you going to give chase? There was a time when R’nd would have spurred the blue into action in order to win a chance with B’jin. Now, however, since their win, R’nd had found himself in B’jin’s company on a regular basis and the need to win in order to cater to a crush wasn’t as strong. That didn’t mean he would never again, as they attempted Larrikith’s last flight and, subsequently, lost. R’nd wasn’t surprised given the green’s game but he had still slinked away, in a towel thanks to B’jin’s thievery, a bit disappointed.

I haven’t decided yet. Besides, you have plans for today. R’nd could feel the stir of desire through their bond even as his lazy dragon tried to ignore it in favour of playing his own game. You should, you know. You want to and Larrikith will never forgive you if you don’t. They had a sneak peak of that on a very confusing day. First Ayyonth chased Grith, and lost, and was then in some drama with Larrikith when they went to find comfort with their favourite greenpair. The spunky girl seemed to have taken quite a liking to Ayyonth, which baffled R’nd who was usually teased and harassed by his blue. As to the excuse of my plans, they can be moved. It wasn’t like he was meeting someone, just leaving a gift.

R’nd stared at the basket of items he had assembled and wondered if it was appropriate to give or if any of the items were needed or wanted. He hadn’t quite gotten the hang of fatherhood just yet and still didn’t put in many visitations but he had promised to help the best he could and R’nd stood by his words. He had commissioned quite a few gifts for the mother and son as the start of his efforts. He had been told babies grew rapidly and since Benden was already tubby – seriously, where did he get that from? – R’nd had several outfits made in sizes he was told should work well. A stuffed toy in the shape of a fish, to represent both parents’ background, was also commissioned, along with some Benden-sized towels for baths and, more importantly, learning to swim. A few snacks he knew Volfetti liked were also added but her big gift was a necklace with a piece of blue glass that matched the ocean. When he arrived home after picking it up, R’nd realised it also matched Ayyonth. Hopefully Volfetti didn’t see it as ownership but a token of something they both liked. He knew he was a child of the ocean and didn’t doubt Volfetti was anything else either.

But the delivery could wait, and likely would given how restless Ayyonth was becoming. He knew B’jin was teaching that day and had a feeling the poor man was around the Crafting Hall still when Larrikith took to the sky. R’nd almost suspected she did it on purpose, waiting for the best moment to make life difficult for her bonded. Bring me to B’jin and go show Larrikith her feelings aren’t wasted on you. If Ayyonth’s lust wasn’t starting to cloud his mind, R’nd would have laughed at himself giving relationship advice. Instead, he left the basket behind and headed for the stretching blue.

A quick trip between and R’nd was dismounting outside the Hall. His feet were barely on the ground when Ayyonth took off to join the chase, using his speed to his advantage, along with his experience in casual flights with the little green. She liked to dive and do daring stunts, though he still couldn’t claim to predict her moves. As he caught up to the pack, Ayyonth gave a bellow to announce his arrival and acceptance of Larrikith’s challenge.

Now that they were both so close to the greenpair, R’nd was nearly dizzy with lust and stumbled a few times on his way to B’jin as his vision blurred between his path and Ayyonth’s. When he finally made it to the room, R’nd found himself annoyed at the group already assembling. How did they get there so quickly? They must have been in the area at the time but they still earned a frown before grey eyes sought out and locked onto B’jin. As he moved in closer to join the pack surrounding the greenrider, R’nd’s smile was one of a predator sure of victory.

They were amazing, they were desirable, and they were so out of the league of each and every sad excuse for a rider that was milling around them! Larrikith gave a warbling, mocking cry as she twisted away to one side, leaving behind the larger members of the pack chasing her while B'jin gave a snide smirk as he twisted away from the brushing fingers of a bluerider, unaware of his action but condescending none the less, eyes glazed and mind melded completely with Larrikith's.

He didn't see R'nd enter, nor did Larrikith see the pretty blue she'd taken such a liking to enter the fray. She'd known he would, but had been unconcerned about if he hadn't. More fool him, to miss out on one such as she! Her answering bellow to his announcement was filled with self assurance, her eyes gleaming with the lusty challenge she had issued. Head twisting to peer back over her shoulder, Larrikith chirped cheerfully, teasing, and then came to an abrupt stop.

It was a daring move, but one not wasted as Larrikith flared her wings suddenly, almost completely stopping and causing surprised dragons to shoot off in all directions to avoid a collision, instead of twining with her. As they darted past, she twisted, dropping under Ayyonth and turning slightly so her wingtip brushed against his underbelly, the move carefully calculated to avoid twining. To entice. To tease. To torture. Then she tucked her wings tightly to her small, rounded body and dropped like a stone towards the ground.

Inside the Craft Hall, B'jin's hand trailed down R'nd's chest, the greenrider's smile teasing and wanton as he preened. They knew who would win, the moment Ayyonth's voice had joined the morning chorus. Of course, that didn't mean they would make it easy now. B'jin echoed Larrikith's movements, his fingers dipping away from R'nd's body tauntingly as he stepped back, smug. Self assured. Confident. Come to me. He pressed back against the office door. It was closed, but not locked and would easily fall open if enough pressure was applied.

Larrikith waited until the final moment before she ended her wild and almost uncontrolled free-fall, her wings extending just enough to have her sweeping across the ground so close she was almost touching it. She twisted between two buildings and shot skyward once more, zipping to the side of and above a small brown who thought he was being so clever by tailing her without following her dive. Larrikith hissed at him as she passed, then did another one eighty, spinning on a wingtip to go in the complete opposite direction like a green arrow.

Again she challenged the pack, her voice sultry and inviting even as she laughed at them all.

Ayyonth growled in response to the minx’s brazen moves, teasing him further into giving chase. As if he would do anything else! He had wanted to join the fray the moment her sultry invitation was heard but resisted only for a game he wanted to play and with his own rules but Ayyonth couldn’t remember any of it now. The game they now played was clear and the rules obvious; he had been tagged and it was now up to him to find a way to catch the saucy green. His eyes shone with lusty determination when Larrikith dove to the ground, a trick she loved to pull. Like some of the others in pursuit, he didn’t follow exactly, pulling back slightly higher in order to keep an eye on the green and make a move at the right moment.

As Ayyonth twisted between his competitors while cutting off others, R’nd echoed the movements by stepping in front of a brownrider that had been too daring and started to close the distance and reach out for B’jin. They may have been a young pair with Ayyonth on the smaller side but they knew what they wanted and gave a good chase, showing their friendliness didn’t extend to every area of their lives. They were predators on the hunt and held nothing back. R’nd held his arms out, blocking his fellow riders as Ayyonth followed Larrikith along her steep climb and as the dragons folded in their wings to dive back down in their twisting spiralling descent, R’nd leaned forward, planting both palms on either side of B’jin’s shoulders against the door.

The aerial show ended when cerulean blue twined with mossy green and a bugle of triumph and a soft croon given seconds later. R’nd for his part gave his wicked grin once again and had just enough common sense left in him for a hand to reach for the doorknob as the other went to the back of B’jin’s neck and pulled him in for a celebratory kiss. Moments later, and lost completely to the lust, R’nd had them tumbling into the tiny office, unconcerned about the location or any lingering audience catching a glimpse of the record speed removal of clothing.

B'jin's eyes were glazed as he blinked back to reality, trembling and slick with sweat the greenrider peered up at R'nd with a dazed frown as he tugged the pieces of his conscious self away from the wild entanglement of dragonlust Larrikith had drowned him in. His grip on the bluerider loosened, allowing space and air between them and he trembled as it rose goosebumps across warmed flesh. It did a wonderful job of driving away the last strands of confusion, and B'jin removed one hand from where it was resting lightly against R'nd's hip to brush much-too-long hair out of his face and pinch the bridge of his nose for a moment. Then his hand dropped back to where it had been.

Leaning up and forward, B'jin placed a warm kiss on R'nd's lips, a quirky smile claiming his own as he settled back comfortably with a lazy air. "Good morning," his voice was light and gentle, and he wrapped his arms delicately around R'nd's neck as brown gaze sought to meet grey, and B'jin pressed teasingly against his friend, eyes sparkling with mischief. "If more tests ended like this, I would be a very happy man," he purred, nibbling his way down the side of R'nd's neck, deeply pleased with the outcome of the flight. Larrikith had chosen favourites before, back at Telgar, but even then they had been lucky to fly her twice in a handful of turns. Two of three flights? That was most certainly a new record, ad one B'jin had no qualms about. He wasn't willing to put money on it just yet (Larrikith was fickle, and her memory terrible) but he wouldn't be surprised if the current outcome became more regular over the next turn. At least until Larrikith grew bored of the game. He didn't really put much weight on her affection for the young blue lasting, likening it more to a first crush than anything serious. But that didn't put any kind of damper on the here or now.

"Mmm," B'jin murmured happily, one arm unwinding from around R'nd's neck to trail slowly down his chest invitingly, the greenrider unconcerned about the fact that they were severely lacking a bed; not that his office would be big enough for a-. Every muscle in B'jin's previously relaxed body froze, and he turned his gaze to stare at R'nd with wide eyes for a moment. His trailing hand curled into a loose fist and rested against his friends chest as he slowly tore his gaze from R'nd's to peer around the office with an utterly horrified expression.

The greenrider whimpered, the sound one of heart break, as he took in the whirlwind of clothing tossed around the small room. His chair, kicked to one side and lying forgotten. The neat stacks of parchment - unused, marked, needing to be marked - all scattered around the room with the clothing like a child's tantrum - or a particularly vigorous flight... The ink pot, lying where it had been knocked on his desk, a puddle of red marking ink spreading like a pool of bright blood. Someone had been kind enough to latch the door closed after them, at least. He'd probably be explaining himself to D'ren (again) which would be amazingly awful without the added 'I scarred the brats or life' added in. With another broken whimper, B'jin buried his face in the crook of R'nd's neck, clinging to the younger man pathetically. Why did Larrikith insist on making the best parts of his life so painful?

"I hate my dragon." It was a depressed sigh, the words uttered without any real feeling, and the man was completely unaware of the undertone of honesty that resided within the simple words. Sighing softly again - resigned this time - B'jin's grip changed, so he was leaning into the bluerider with easy companionship, fingers stroking lightly against R'nd's spine. Breathing in deeply, B'jin released his breath slowly, and when he did, his good mood had returned in full, though it may also have been fueled by his freely wandering hands, which were unabashedly exploring R'nd's torso and making their way down his sides.

"What a mess we have made, my dear." That was full of dry amusement, the subtle tone of laughter touching on his voice and B'jin peered up coyly from under his lashes. Well. The office was already in ruins, his class had (probably) been dismissed. And if they hadn't, well, it wasn't like they didn't know what was going on behind the closed doors anyway, and chances were B'jin would once more be apologizing for his silly dragon's terrible timing. No point crying over spilt milk. Or ink, at least as long as it state out of hair and off clothes.

The greenrider smiled up at his lover, the twist of his lips both devious and inviting, and his hands dropped lower.

There was always a desire to rub his hands over his eyes, as if to brush away the lusty haze like he would sleep, after flights but R’nd stopped attempting it after his second victory. It didn’t really do any good since it was a fuzzy mind he was working through and that simply took a little time of revelling in the afterglow and piecing together what he could of what happened. When his lover stirred in his arms, that desire was there but it was ignored as grey eyes fluttered, bringing him back into full control of all his motor skills, and glanced down at the smaller man clinging to him. A smile appeared at the sight of B’jin and the memory of discussing with Ayyonth the merits of entering this chase only held it in place. Of course his proud and confident beast would win after losing the last and then making a show of considering not even chasing Larrikith this time. Sometimes Ayyonth proved the dragon was actually more the predator than his rider.

“Good morning, Sunshine,” R’nd replied after the gentle kiss, still remembering every word and action taken after their first flight together and mimicking a part of it here and there throughout their time together. It was simply an amazing moment in time for the young bluerider that didn’t view his developing habit as something sentimental or anything more than sharing something akin to an inside joke with B’jin. “And so long as I don’t have to write the test, I will be a very happy man,” a soft chuckle at the idea almost turned into a wicked laugh as kinky thoughts of what exactly that could lead to if they were into that sort of bedroom entertainment. R’nd decided it was probably for the best to keep that random image to himself as he was sure B’jin would blush and then worry the bluerider wanted to role play. Why do that when being himself was already working out so well for him?

Besides, B’jin was suddenly depressed and clinging to him differently and while a reassuring hand massaged gentle circles to the man’s bare back, R’nd let the idea drop entirely and gave his friend a moment to come to terms with what Larrikith could do to his day, reputation, and property.

After that interesting turn of thought and moment of soothing silence, R’nd finally caught up to what they had actually been talking about and realized they weren’t in any old location; which he sort of knew given how they weren’t curled up in a nice soft bed. Grey eyes swept over the room from door to knocked over chair to messy desk. Two things were very obvious. One, they were in B’jin’s office, which he recalled knowing beforehand thanks to the Harper’s busy day. Two, R’nd was fairly confident he could map out the progression of their passion around the room. He was highly amused by that already but when the spilled ink pot was spotted, the vain bluerider laughed and held up his hands to inspect for stains and then did the same of what he could see of B’jin. “While we did do a number on your room, and I’ll help you clean it up, it looks like we avoided wearing the ink.” As far as he could tell, anyway. He couldn’t remember seating his lover on the desk but it was a possibility and R’nd wasn’t sure he’d be able to keep a straight face if the greenrider stood and his ass was speckled with ink.

At least B’jin saved him from having to explain the impending burst of laughter at the image forming in his head when a hand started creeping lower down his chest. R’nd loved when the confidence shone through and B’jin dared to initiate something he wanted whether it be sex or just cuddling. Cuddling still wasn’t his strongest area and it wouldn’t be listed among his favourite pastimes but R’nd felt he had improved and if someone kept stealing them, then he had to be doing something right! He let B’jin continue to lead a little longer before playfully taking it away with a nip to his lover’s nose and flipping B’jin to his back so he had a wicked bluerider looming over him, intent on giving the man more pleasure.

*~*fade out… fade in…*~*

“For the record, I’m kind of fond of your dragon,” R’nd purred against B’jin’s forehead as he placed a kiss in the centre. Larrikith’s picky ways had finally played in his favour the last time, combined with Ayyonth’s excellent flying, of course! But the little green also seemed interested in helping at times, or that was how R’nd viewed it since she spoke to him directly and he knew that was a rarity. Given the wild ride the greenpair gave as well, he’d be a fool to complain about Larrikith. Although, there was one thing playing around in his mind that R’nd finally had to say as he drew lazy patterns on B’jin’s back while pretending the floor was a lot softer than it actually was.

“But are all flights with you going to leave us in interesting locations? Or me without my pants?” He was smiling as he spoke, not at all upset, just amused. In a way, R’nd believed Larrikith chose the exact moment that would cause B’jin the most grief and waited to rise.

The greenrider's eyes sparkled as he stared up at R'nd, features a painting of excited anticipation as the bluerider leered down at him. While there had been a time when such an action had causes trepidation in the greenrider, he was silently pleased that the only thrill that shot through him was one of pleasurable, not fearful, anticipation. A smile curled the corners of his lips as B'jin reached up a hand, hooking it behind R'nd's neck to tug the bluerider down for a heated kiss.

~ whee, fun times ~

B'jin gave a breathy laugh at the random topic R'nd brought up, curling closer to his lover with a lazy yawn. It was at least nice to know other's appreciated the terrible creature, especially when they had also ended up inconvenienced because of her actions instead of just teasing him for the results. More laughter was given as R'nd asked his questions, B'jin's features alight with his amusement as he shook his head carefully.

"Quite likely," B'jin teased, frowning thoughtfully for a moment as he ran over locations he had ended up in as a result of Larrikith's flight. "Yeah. Pretty much." R'nd didn't need to know all the details, but the sly sideways look B'jin gave him pretty much indicated that if R'nd could think it, it was liable that Larrikith had chosen it as a place to Fly from, to or above. The dragon was insufferable!

"Just be thankful she doesn't fly during Turnover," B'jin said cheerfully. That was, perhaps, the most social gathering Larrikith had not flown during. I'm sure arrangements could be arranged, Larrikith slurred lazily, bespeaking both men as she snuggled closer to Ayyonth happily. B'jin arched an eyebrow at R'nd, looking comically exasperated.

"So what did we so rudely interrupt?" B'jin asked, half serious and half teasing as he tugged gently on a lock of R'nd's hair. A slight pause followed, then a coy, calculating look. He still had the pair of pants in question, and a shirt (or three). He was just lacking what... A jacket? B'jin pursed his lips, but couldn't quite swallow the devious little giggle that came up at the thought. Boots would be too much trouble, socks were smelly, and R'nd didn't seem to have any affiliation with wearing hats.

Jacket, then.

B'jin attempted to hide his devious smirk by laying a trail of kisses across R'nd's collarbone. Unfortunately (for B'jin) they were accompanied by breathy little giggles, the sounds wickedly devious as a child's - a sound that blatantly said he knew he was lining himself up for trouble, but was going to enjoy every moment of it.

R’nd would have feigned a pout over the possibility of always landing in interesting and embarrassing locations after flights with that particular greenpair but he couldn’t do it. He was far too amused by it, loving the thrill that came out of wondering where they ended up, the state of the usually borrowed room, and how public it was. He wasn’t exactly an exhibitionist but in a weyr, everyone knew who flew who anyway, so might as well make sure the gossip lovers had some fun tidbits to pass along with the known news. So when B’jin brought up Turnover, R’nd couldn’t stop the laughter, especially with his lover’s expression at Larrikith chiming in. “I’m not sure I can really find fault in celebrating the new turn in such a way. You’re supposed to ring it in by enjoying yourself and with those you care for, right?”

As B’jin gently tugged on a lock of hair, R’nd playfully batted at his hand, his good mood from an excellent flight and their casual chattering shining bright. He did pause, however, at the question posed to him before mentally shrugging and telling the truth despite what he had heard happened in the kitchens one day. “I was planning to bring by a basket of gifts for Fetti and Benden. Don’t worry, though, she didn’t know I would be coming by so neither of us should earn an earful.” His grin widened and a quick kiss was given to the tip of B’jin’s nose as he hoped it was clear he didn’t mind any interruptions.

What he did mind, but not really, was the devious little giggles B’jin was suddenly trying to smother. What was his friend plotting? Why did it seem like it would be against him instead of including him? R’nd pouted at that since he liked getting into mischief and while he was enjoying the barrage of kisses, he felt it was time for a counter strike. With a practiced ease, R’nd trailed his hands down B’jin’s sides, fingers ghosting over the warm skin in a touch to incite sensitivity before planting them at the waist to roll them around. When all was said and done, B’jin was on his back with a grinning R’nd looking down as he straddled the man. “What are you up to, love?” the words were whispered against an ear as R’nd leaned down to nibble on the lobe. He kept his attentions on that one spot for several heartbeats before copying B’jin’s move of trailing slow and lingering kisses along his neck.

Did he really expect an answer? Not really. Did he plan on enjoying the interrogation for a few minutes? Absolutely.

B'jin gave R'nd a dry look at his laughter, not bothering to articulate his lack of desire to have Larrikith fly during Turnover. He enjoyed enjoying the end of the turn and dawning of the new one on his own steam, in his own mind; not tangled up in her lust and winding up slumped in a corner somewhere with someone random. Despite two of the last three flights recommending Ayyonth, two out of some several handfuls worth didn't really hold up well. B'jin wasn't putting any money on being caught by R'nd again until it had happened at least half a dozen times - in a row.

Highly unlikely, no matter how appealing.

Eyebrows drew together briefly at the mentioning of Volfetti, though it took the other rider some few moments to actually realise that was the woman being spoken of; B'jin rarely referred to her by nickname, since he mostly had almost nothing to do with her. The phrasing used by R'nd caused a slight eyebrow twitch, even as B'jin realised he had likely heard of the weirdness that had ensured within the kitchen; His lips pursed irritably for a moment, the unintended reminder of how the woman had insulted his children flashing over his face, before B'jin let it go. He was hardly going to give the silly woman that kind of power over him!

Bad enough half the men in the weyr possessed it.

B'jin watched innocently, body twitching to escape R'nd's unintentional tickles, eyes wide as he bit his lip. An indignant cry of surprise was forced from his lips as R'nd changed their set up, puffing his breath up into his lover's face indignantly even as the other man grinned down at him. "Up to?" B'jin asked innocently as he titled his head to give R'nd better access to apply kisses. "Now why would you think... that?"

The last word was a breathy sigh, and B'jin smiled sweetly at R'nd, positively glowing with an innocence that was totally untrue.

“Because, my dear,” R’nd sat up, letting his hands trail lightly over B’jin’s chest as he did so, “you never look so innocent except when you’re up to something.” He was smiling, far too amused by the antics they usually fell into to actually worry what was being plotted or wonder if it was against him. In truth it likely was against him but he had no reason to believe it would be horrible since their plotting and devious ways thus far left them naked and alone together. Like now. R’nd was a big fan of the here and now and all the nakedness it possessed. Though, as much as he loved it, he also knew they shouldn’t linger all day in the office. They already made a scene with such a public location and during a class, R’nd suspected people would want to start using the hall again and soon without hearing how fantastic sex was between them.

R’nd cast another glance around the room and wondered where the best place to begin would be if they decide to be nice and end their current play date. “I suppose we should start rearranging furniture…” there was a pout to his voice, just as there was one on kiss-swollen lips, giving away R’nd’s true stance on the idea. In case B’jin still didn’t catch it, the way the bluerider flopped back down beside the man to lie on his side with his head propped up so he still maintained a slight height advantage – he had to keep an eye on the devious rider, after all – would have certainly given it away. “However, I’m starting to find this particular floor to be rather inviting and almost comfortable.”

Idly, R’nd reached out to brush back B’jin’s bangs and continued to toy with a strand of hair that truly was getting long. Was B’jin actually growing it out for him? R’nd remembered saying that he liked men with longer hair as it was something most riders didn’t enjoy having and his friend’s just slightly shaggy hair that day of the lashing was the reason for that confession. He certainly hadn’t expected someone who always kept his style as trimmed short and neat to continue growing it out! It was flattering, assuming he was correct and R’nd’s ego wouldn’t allow him to think he wasn’t, and a gentle kiss was given to tip of nose and then lips before returning to the silent task of admiring his lover.

The greenrider that was notorious for not sticking around after flights and didn’t want to form relationships was still there beside him and continued to invite him over to the usually very off-limits hut. A small smile appeared as R’nd continued gazing at B’jin’s face, knowing how lucky he was. B’jin had always seemed so unreachable, his own mind and the way he viewed the older man certainly didn’t help change that perception, yet one flight followed by a well-timed visit to the kitchens which had him finding B’jin alone in the Square had managed to slowly change that. “A cherished rare treasure,” R’nd murmured quietly, recalling the compliment he gave B’jin after the Hatching, the sincerity now just as strong as it was then; perhaps even stronger.

Once again he praised Ayyonth for his wonderful flying and sent a thank you to Larrikith as well, though he didn’t elaborate and wasn’t even certain she was paying a lick of attention to him.

"Lies!" B'jin insisted with a giggle, grinning impishly up at R'nd as his own hands played over the other man's thighs, and over his hips, fingers light and touch feathery. He enjoyed the easy relationship he shared with R'nd; relaxed, and casual, the bluerider made it easy to be himself without always over-analysing or worrying that he was meant to react the right way, to say the right thing at the right time. R'nd didn't lay expectations down before him and B'jin found himself becoming attached to the lack of attachment, and the lack of expectations.

"Hmm," B'jin replied, light touch trailing up R'nd's side and he lifted himself onto one elbow, placing a light kiss on the pouting lips and then flopping back onto the floor himself, content to not move at all. His office was a wreck, and it would take more than a little effort to fix it. B'jin did not have the required energy for such a task. R'nd was exhausting without help. A flight with R'nd? B'jin decided he'd be lucky to make it back to his hut and smothered a yawn before snorting softly in amusement. "Indeed," he replied lightly, stroking R'nd's arm gently as the other rider toyed with a lock of his hair.

The greenrider smiled lazily at R'nd, not completely oblivious to the train of the younger rider's thoughts though he opted not to comment upon it. He was, when completely honest with himself, somewhat embarrassed by the outcome. He couldn't really recall R'nd's comment, but apparently it had been something known by Amorandii's mother; she'd picked up on the lengthening locks and mentioned it in teasing; unfortunately doing so around their daughter. Well, once the child had heard B'jin had no hope of getting a haircut. The greenrider hadn't yet decided which was the more embarrassing factor; his soul being owned by a child under ten turns, or letting R'nd and those he associated with believe it was for him. Those closet to B'jin were probably less surprised by the outcome; the greenrider was generally a pleaser and if it pleased R'nd for him to have longer hair well then, why wouldn't he?

B'jin blinked, lips twitching under the soft kisses pressed to nose and lips by R'nd, the greenriders eyebrow arching just slightly at the sentimentality brewing behind the gesture. R'nd was very rarely forceful, but the soft look and the gentle kisses were also very rare and the older rider felt a subtle blush rising up his cheeks at the steady gaze, brown eyes searching grey for a hint at what was going through his lover's mind. It was answered with the murmured words from R'nd's lips, and B'jin's features flashed suddenly crimson and he wriggled a little where he laid, looking caught somewhere between deeply pleased and terribly embarrassed.

He struggled, for a moment, trying to find something to say in return. Failing, visibly, to find any (what kind of a Harper did that make him?) B'jin shoved himself up on his elbow and linked his other arm strongly around the back of R'nd's neck, jerking the younger man down and kissing him deeply. It felt amazing, to be appreciated.

A wide, thoroughly amused smile shone down at B’jin as R’nd watched the blush slowly creep over cheeks before darkening to a pretty crimson. The greenrider was adorably odd. He seemed so confident and easy-going but softly-spoken kind words sent him off kilter and left him speechless and awkward. It almost made R’nd want to do it more often just to see the reaction. He didn’t mind that B’jin never paid him back with a kind word since it was never done as a way to earn praising words from his lover. R’nd simply wanted to share what was on his mind and how he viewed the man he always enjoyed being with. It was just a shame that such a man, a Harper at that, flustered so easily when he was being appreciated. It made the bluerider wonder what all had happened behind tightly closed doors with Nemall.

Not that R’nd would ever ask. B’jin dodged any attempts to ask something that would possibly link to parts of his past he didn’t want to discuss and R’nd had no desire to ruin the relationship he held with the private greenrider.

Even if he wanted to ask right then, B’jin didn’t give him a chance as the wriggling ceased and the greenrider suddenly reached up to pull R’nd down into a kiss. The passion behind it said it all; while words were lost to the Harper, he appreciated hearing the viewpoint all the same. “Forget the cleaning,” he managed to say on a stolen breath though he couldn’t stop himself from continuously placing light and playful kisses on lips despite having more to say on the thought.

Finally, with quite a bit of willpower, R’nd stopped giving in to kissing B’jin and brushed his fingers through those lengthening locks. “My attention keeps returning to you and only you. I fear nothing else will be noticed or done on my part today unless you find it in you to vanish from my vision, a thought that is most displeasing.” He pouted at the idea but a slow smile came into play soon after, showing that while he would indeed hate to see it happen, he would somehow manage to survive all the same. Maybe.

B'jin laughed softly against R'nd's lips, amused by the bluerider's breathy words. All things considered, he had no desire what-so-ever to clean up his office, at least not that day (or possibly even the following. After that he might have to...) and repaid the playful kisses with a cheerful smile tugging at his lips. "Planned to," he murmured happily, giving a playful tweak to a lock of R'nd's hair.

Watching thoughtfully as R'nd pulled away, B'jin's eyebrows arched slightly in question as fingers trailed lazily down the bluerider's sides. "Is that so?" B'jin asked mildly, almost managing to look as if this were an every day piece of information. It was ruined fairly rapidly by the growing air of mischief as the greenerider eyed R'nd from half narrowed eyes for a moment. "However shall I wield such power?" Eyes widened once more, innocently, as he smirked coyly.

His expression failed to change substantially at the rap of knocks on the door. Though irritation flickered briefly in his eyes, B'jin's mischievously thoughtful gaze didn't shift from R'nd's own grey. "A moment!" Untangling himself with a scattering of kisses, B'jin rose and began searching the room. A moment later, he kicked R'nd's pants at the bluerider and tugged on his own, tucking both shirts under one arm and tossing the bluerider a cheerful wink as he backed toward the door. He paused for a moment to throw the bluerider a wicked smirk, hardly waiting for him to have his pants on before opening the door.

"I'll clean up later," B'jin cheerfully told the greenrider now sitting lazily on his classroom desk, ignoring the other man's smirk. Spinning around to see where R'nd was, B'jin startled when he was closer than expected. His expression rapidly altered to one of smug satisfaction that clearly implied R'nd had nothing to fear as far as B'jin vanishing from his sight for the remainder of the day. Clasping R'nd's hand with one of his own, B'jin spun back around and proceeded to march them both out of the classroom. If his lover was going to proclaim such things, well then! B'jin planed to to exploit his current powers.

Enjoy your bath, Larrikith laughed, brushing against the minds of both men as she lazily snuggled into Ayyonth. "Planned to," B'jin chirped, echoing his earlier statement, more than pleased with the change in the day's agenda as he lead the way to the bathing houses.

R’nd caught the flash of irritation as someone bravely knocked and laughed. It was hard to say if it was the expression, someone daring enough to disturb them – hadn’t anyone learned after their first flight that R’nd and B’jin took their sweet time together? – or if it was the flourish of kisses received as B’jin untangled himself. It didn’t really matter; R’nd was in a great mood and having a blast.

“Just because they don’t fit you properly doesn’t mean you have to kick them,” R’nd teased with a grin when his pants came sliding towards him. The idea of being dressed while around B’jin that afternoon didn’t sound too appealing and certainly didn’t make his list of things to do that day. Still, he complied, shimmying into his pants just in time for the door to open. Not that he would care if anyone got a glimpse at his amazing body, both now with the door open or in general as they relocated, but R’nd knew D’ren frowned on excessive public nudity and he was trying to earn back points, not lose more.

He came up behind his energetic greenrider with the intention of pulling him close again but B’jin turned and startled, likely at how quickly and silently he moved. Before R’nd could say anything, B’jin grabbed his hand to lead him away. The greenrider that had interrupted them and currently looked far too amused earned a finger-wriggle wave as R’nd once again laughed and was pulled along behind B’jin.

This side of B’jin was somewhat similar to the day of playing with paints and while it was odd, R’nd didn’t think too much on it then or now. Perhaps it was the lingering remnants of flightlust that left him not bothering to think too deeply on anything and left him caught up in the fun. Fun was exactly what it was as well. B’jin seemed to glow as he enjoyed himself and the power he held over a bluerider without caring about anything else around them.

R’nd decided there wasn’t anything else to do but enjoy whatever else received a ‘planned to.’
