Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! The noise had drawn Shanith first. Bitter experience had taught Ravana that investigating strange noises could result in anything from finding a wherry pit (the hard way) to getting pounced on and licked half to death by an excited canine. She came back distressed though, and with the bitter feeling that she would regret this, she went to check it out.
She swore when she spotted the source of the commotion. Some wherrybrained idiot had left their fishing net out with some fish in the net. A firelizard had been unable to resist the free lunch and had gotten itself tangled in the net.
It was wild, aggressive and too tangled to fly. She watched it wiggle weakly, hissing at Shanith exhaustedly then approached. The little blue glared at her balefully and when she reached down to try and help it, bit at her. Ravana yanked her fingers back in a rare display of good reflexes, and glared at it.
Sighing, she drew her belt knife and stepped closer. She tangled in the net then, fell and felt something clamp sharp little teeth on her ear. With a yelp, she sat up, detached the still tangled up firelizard and wrapped a hand around the jaw. It took two more bites and a deep scratch but she was finally able to muzzle the damn thing by virtue of wrapping her hand around the muzzle.
Now what? And where was the damn thing's fair anyway? She called to Shanith. "You got me into this, you overgrown excuse for a wherry. Get help! And look out for a fair of firelizards, this fellow's can't be too far off!" The green shrugged off the insult and looked around then spotted a dragon.You there! Morith! My rider needs a hand! Can you and yours come lend her one?
