[While it should be noted that Okalinath’s flight has a determined winner, I want to encourage anyone who can make something of the flight to enter! Loser plots are fun, after all!
Also; This post got a little excited on the gore xD

Krypth’s last flight, Okalianth hadn’t been old enough to send the pair fleeing from the Weyr; two days ago, however, Kahleena had been forced to drop what she had been doing and scramble aboard Okalinath and direct the young dragon to a location outside the weyr district. In so doing, she took away any chance of the gold being prodded into heat and taking to the skies at the same time as her dam. Her gold’s flight, of course, would be perfectly terrifying all of its own. Kahleena had no desire to experience it alongside the very real risk of losing her beautiful bonded to a fight and an eternal trip between.

When they had returned home, Okalinath had been looked over by their weyrlingmaster, and Kahleena had been released to do her usual evening activities, assured that Okalinath was in no immediate danger of rising. The next morning’s usual meet up with the Weyrlingmaster had assured Kahleena that Okalinath was fine, and the chance of the young gold rising was as minimal as it had been the day prior. The thought was heavy on the young woman’s mind, however, as she went about her daily duties and her dreams had been far more heated that night than Kahleena would ever have been happy to tell anyone. Never mind alone the curious dragon that had selected a couple of rather highlighted events and spent most of the day questioning Kahleena in a teasing, sultry voice.

The mild from the Weyrlingmaster had given Okalinath that morning had been ignored, the girl far too wrapped up and feeling far too warm in the face. Indeed, Kahleena had been distracted and absentminded more so than usual, mostly put off by the girl herself by Okalinath’s insistent quizzes, and her flushed face also attributed to the intimate questions the dragon would ask at less than ideal moments, the heat flaring up as Kahleena’s active imagination would leap on the hints and prods the dragon gave it. Spending the entire day perpetually aroused was far from a comfortable experience for Kahleena, and she ended it by retreating to the bathing rooms, and the relaxation of hot water, soothing scents, and the quietness of being alone.

She had hardly expected Okalinath to change those plans on her, the gold dragon – who had been snoozing in the fading sunlight on the roof – was brought to wakefulness by her bonded’s activities in the private of her bath (activities Kahleena would most certainly never admit to indulging in). The gold dragon rose, and stretched luxuriously, purring deep in her throat as eyes flared a sudden combination of wanton lust and arrogant challenge. Wide wings flared as the small gold hissed viciously and flung herself into a low flight, leaving the Weyr proper to fall down upon a beast within the semi-feral herds located on the outskirts.

Kahleena gasped, sitting upright in the bathtub with a wave of water spilling over the edges a she struggled with the odd sensations of swirling lust from Okalinath and the over powering desire for blood – a sensation so hot and thick it made the girl choke and gasp as she floundered in the tub of water. She’d barely managed to topple out of the tub, slipping and sliding precariously on the spilt water – when R’nya shouldered his way through the lightly barred door and skidded across the floor with a very inelegant yelp of surprise at the slippery floor.

“I- what? … Ren!” The bronzerider ignored the girl’s screech as he threw a towel around her and began shoving her out of the room. Kahleena was less than agreeable, fighting the man the entire way; she paused when the sudden desire for blood became a sensation of the liquid in her throat and she stumbled. “Ren!”

“Okalinath is blooding! You must stop her from gorging, Khal. Control her.”

Control? Blooding? Kahleena stumbled and hissed at the cold air frisking her mostly revealed form as they left the security of the bathing houses and R’nya gripped her by the upper arms, through the towel flung hazardously around her shoulders and barely falling long enough. “She can’t!” If R’nya responded, she didn’t hear it as Okalinath’s thirst sated and she tore into the warm stomach of the wherry; meat and feathers in innards flew around the beasts muzzle and Kahleena forgot where she was standing. As her mind melded with that of Okalinath and weyrling lessons flittered on the edge of her mind, echoed by R’nya’s continuing hissing to control her, Kahleena whispered a weak ‘blood?’.

Okalinath snarled and spat, throwing the carcass aside and the dead creature flopped to the ground not far from where a potential suitor was waiting, eyes glued to her glowing form. Okalinath preened for a moment, before throwing herself onto another beast, elegance and grace long gone in exchange for fierce bloodlust. Kahleena’s repeated whisper was ignored as the belly was shredded, Okalinath stealing a mouthful of warm innards before she sucked the carcass empty of ichor. A shriek left her then, her muzzle dripping green as she raised it upward, where the sun was slowly abandoning the sky.

Wings spreading wide once more, Okalinath pushed off powerfully, her young body lifting into the sky with strong beats of the wing as she shot upwards, instinct winning out over her lack of experience as she aimed for the very stars themselves. On the ground, Kahleena hissed out as R’nya stared around suddenly, and then began leading her with hurried shoves towards the closest building with a bed. Shoving her mindless form into an empty room, R'nya turned tail and got out of there.

Ironth's tail twitched and a low rumble came from his throat. Lust rolled through the brown as he head swept up and he darted from his wallow. A rise. Someone was rising and at the strength of his lust it could only be a gold. Ironth had only chased one gold before and the result had left him a loser. Today he would give chase again.

K'ton's head snapped up as Ironth's lust swam through his blood. Shards. Another green flight he was certain. He'd wake in a strange man's bed disgusted with himself as he usually was. Ameris no longer allowed him to climb in her bed afterwards and there weren't many he trusted with his sensitive dignity. A green flight.

It is no green Ironth said, his rut heavy in his voice from where he waited on the side lines as he watched the golden hide of Okalianth shimmer and glitter in the dying sun. His eyes whirled a brilliant red with his rut and he waited ever so patiently as the little queen blooded her kills. Not a... K'ton answered dumbfounded. Ironth hadn't attempted another gold flight since Nirinath's first and K'ton groaned out loud as a wave of lust nearly slammed him into the door. Before he could call Ironth away, the brown was in the air following the golden form of Okalianth with a fierce bellow.

It had been a fairly uneventful day for N'kal, not quite so much for Torath who had spent his morning lounging in the creche playing with the children there. N'kal had watched from afar, amused that his bonded was so fond of the littlest things. He had no idea how such a large dragon as Torath could manage to actually 'play' with children, who were far more breakable then adults, but he did, and he did so very carefully. He hadn't noticed any anxiety in the air that say, had he, he would most definitely have gone hunting with Torath rather then having spent the morning in its entirety watching children climb all over his dragon, clinging to his snout and tail while he wiggled about, giving them a 'ride'. He was completely covered in sand and would require a bath soon to clean off said sand and whatever else the kids had attacked him with. He was fond of children himself, but he hadn't been in the mood for whatever reason and had instead shared a cup of klah with another rider whose green had joined in the fun of playing with children. Around lunch time the children were called for a meal and N'kal and Torath both said a farewell to their companions and headed for the lake to get cleaned off.

The rest of their day was spent at the lake, bathing and just relaxing in the water before they both laid out on the sands to enjoy the sun. It was late in the afternoon when N'kal felt the first stirring in his mind from Torath who went from dozing to being restless, almost instantly. His wings had been spread out beside him, N'kal had been laid out shirtless against his neck, dozing as well. When Torath stirred he braced himself for the move but hadn't expected his head and neck to come up so quickly and had doubled over and fell into one of Torath's back spines, luckily he was fast enough to cling to it, preventing himself from a nasty fall. 'Damn it Torath!! What in the name of the Egg is wrong!?', N'kal fussed at him sharply, moments before he felt the heat of lust rise within him, through Torath. Torath, again forgetting N'kal was on his back rumbled so deeply N'kal could feel it vibrate along his spine and through his own body. 'No!', he commanded, sternly as he pulled himself all the way back up onto the bronze. She will fly...beautiful Okalinath..., he rumbled back at N'kal, blatantly ignoring his commanding tone. With his rider still unsecured on his back he folded his wings against his body and started walking toward the weyr, lust rising within him, and, in turn, in N'kal, who gave a groan and a bit of a shudder. 'Damn you Torath! No! We do NOT fly golds!!', he tried again and Torath stopped, swinging his head around, one wildly swirling orange and red. He considered his bonded for several long moments as the lust within him rolled and boiled in his blood.

It has been too long...I want this flight, I want her., he wasn't asking, he was informing, N'kal could either come along for the ride, or stay behind. N'kal could feel Torath's wanting for the gold, he should have known better then to let him hang around her. He knew her rider, she was a quiet little thing, meek and afraid of the world around her. He wasn't even sure he found her all that attractive, not to mention she had to be half his age! However at that moment Torath was on the move again as lust washed over him again, and clinging to Torath's back was all he could do before he leaned forward and rested his forehead against the moving neck of his dragon. 'Damnit Torath! At least take me home first!', Torath roared and before N'kal could properly get situated he was in the air and flying at top speed for the huts, where he heavily landed, jarring the hell out of N'kal, long enough for N'kal to half climb and half fall off his back, landing on the ground outside his hut with a thud, knocking the wind from him for a few minutes before he was able to get up again. He hated flight lust with a damn passion! Most likely he would get beat out by one of the other bronzes and he would end up waking next to some damn green riding male he would have to beat off him. He hated flights...hated them with every fiber of his being.

The sun was just starting to leave the sky when they heard Okalinath shriek to the sky. Torath's head swung around to look at N'kal again, his rider, trembling between rage and lust, normally would have amused the bronze. Tonight however he decided it would be their night to shine, to fly together and to catch the young gold and her rider. Tonight is our night N'kal, tonight we fly! 'What am I to do with that girl should you catch her dragon you ruddy beast!', he fired back as Torath bellowed an echoing roar and heaved himself into the sky. Somehow I doubt you need me to answer that., the faintest touch of amusement hung in the bronze's words, then he was climbing higher and higher into the sky. Smart ass dragon was a smart ass...N'kal would get him back for that if he remembered it tomorrow. When Okalinath rose toward the dimming sky both N'kal and Torath followed her movements and with another roar Torath beat his wings furiously, rising behind her. I come for you beautiful Okalinath!, he challenged her as he rose higher in the air, while N'kal below shoved himself away from his hut, lust driving him to find the gold rider who he may or may not wake up with in the morning.

Despite having chased Krypth three of the four times she rose – the last one being only two days before – Ghaeth still couldn’t tell by signs or appearance when a gold was about to rise. It was only when the commotion of other dragons near him began and the way they watched the sky that he knew something important was about to happen. Ever since Tyrrisath won Krypth’s maiden flight, Ghaeth had it in his head that he was worthy enough to try as well. If Tyrrisath could win and produce decent clutches, then why couldn’t he? He loved flying in general and flights always left K’tir in a good mood during the aftermath and even a little longer when the partner was pleasing. It had been a rare thing to see his beloved bonded happy and relaxed in their early days due to K’tir’s personal life shattering around him so Ghaeth saw flights as a fun way to make the man smile again.

He’d smile even more if they won a gold!

Once it became clear that it was Okalinath in the range, readying to fly, Ghaeth took off without a word to K’tir to sit patiently on the sideline. A carcass was tossed away and it was hard to say if it was done intentionally as the beautiful gold tried to hit him or accidentally. Either way, Ghaeth took a few steps to the side to avoid a repeat with the results being more accurate. Are you ready? he excitedly asked K’tir, startling the brownrider that had been quietly walking from hut to batthouse. K’tir often did that, opting to walk to the bath to help unwind from the day and let his mind wander but he liked flying home since it was less sweaty that way. For a nice bath? Of course I am. That seemed like a fairly odd question that was extremely vague but K’tir didn’t think much on it.

No! You’re always ready for either of our baths but tonight is something different. Special. Better. Okalinath flies! K’tir paused and frowned. They had just gone through this the other day by chasing – and losing – Krypth; why did they have to chase the other baby gold now? Was Aradissicath about to rise suddenly to complete the three young ones driving him insane? That was impossible given her age and still too small size but K’tir worried all the same but only for a few moments. He had a dragon that was growing lustier by the second as he watched the golden girl and K’tir was standing just to the side of the Square with a towel in hand. There’s no way to talk you out of this, is there?

None! It wasn’t that K’tir was necessarily against the idea of flights or even sex in general but he felt a bit embarrassed entering the gold flights. Tyrrisath proved a brown was capable of winning and N’gelt followed suit but they were older and more experienced than he was. Besides, it drew a lot of attention to him and K’tir liked being mostly anonymous and able to avoid being given looks of pity when people remembered he was the pathetic boy used by Z’rak that then Impressed the brown dragon that scared the Weyr because of his white paw. Naturally, they never won the gold flights and they didn’t win too many greens either but they were talked about enough as it was that adding in those failures sucked.

Sighing, K’tir set the towel around his neck and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. His mind was open to Ghaeth and the lust rolling off of his dragon hit him hard. K’tir actually stumbled a step backwards before Ghaeth took to the sky with a shriek that echoed Okalinath’s, answering her challenge. K’tir growled and took off with a quick pace to where he saw R’nya quickly exiting. He was always with one goldrider or another but he also seemed to be lacking any interest in bedding them. The man was likely into other men – and K’tir wouldn’t have minded giving him a spin if that were true – and wanted nothing to do with women. That seemed to be the most logical place where Kahleena could be.

Win this one, Ghaeth. If his silly beast was intent on entering gold flights, then he had best win or come in a close second. K’tir didn’t mind if they lost that way. Ghaeth shot back a playful comment as he entered the fray, hot on the shimmering beauty’s tail but K’tir missed it as his focus narrowed in around him and the world closed in to only the target before him. Everyone and thing around him were forgotten and ignored as he moved toward the pretty young woman he wouldn’t protest being in bed with.

Ghaeth may not have known the signs, but Veeth certainly did! He was practically an expert on knowing when a female would rise, or so he liked to think. It was debateable whether he actually knew or if he had good reflexes in taking off so quickly after the female in question did. This time, however, was a combination of both. He had seen Okalinath earlier and she looked simply radiant. She was a pretty lady to begin with but she seemed to shimmer all the more to him and Veeth couldn’t keep his gaze from drifting back to her when he tried to look away or do something else.

To hear that that she had bloodied her first kill only made the small but determined creature all the more excited. He loved chasing! He loved showing all the females how much he loved them by entering the chase and following their intricate patterns as best as he could. It didn’t matter the colour of the hide – light green, forest green, lime green, or brilliant gold. Veeth would always be there somewhere in the pack.

V’ler of course didn’t understand the desire to show his affection and especially didn’t like how he kept trying for golds. Krypth was a friend! He definitely couldn’t pretend he didn’t see her in the sky. Jada and V’ler liked each other as well so it would be all the more amazing to win a flight with them. Naturally, V’ler wasn’t too thrilled about having to chase again so soon after dealing with Krypth’s flight but Veeth didn’t care as he sprang into action and joined in behind the other dragons that were even quicker than him to react to their basic needs.

V’ler wanted to cry in frustration at losing another battle of will with Veeth when it came to golds. The green flights still happened regularly but the rider had beaten the dragon’s lust a few times now and they both stayed firmly grounded. Gold flights, however, were too strong for the recently graduated bluerider to fight. The lust it brought out was intense and V’ler had no chance of winning; just like Veeth didn’t have a chance at winning. He was still exhausted from the workout Krypth’s flight had given him but it didn’t slow Veeth down and the blue’s energy was just enough to keep V’ler on his feet and moving in the direction of Kahleena. Although he was on his feet, they were being dragged as best as V’ler could manage as his mind started to cloud and vision blurred between ground and sky. If he didn’t make it too close to Kahleena, it would save him time after the loss was finalized in walking back to his hut where he had been strumming on his guitar to find a new melody to tease B’jin with.

Your lack of confidence is not going to help us win, V’ler hated this conversation. He knew it broke his dragon’s heart to hear it but they still went through it every time. Blues don’t win golds, Veeth.

One day, this one will.

The dying sun was hot, so hot, the light burning through the glowing golden hide of Okalinath, the sensation firing through Kahleena’s veins, flushing the girl’s face as her vague eyes sparkled with the heavy, lusty sensations. Sex was not an unknown entity to the young woman, but the massive flare of emotions that were being fuelled by her dragon were more than anything she’d felt before, and Kahleena trembled visibly as Okalinath rose higher into the sky. The breeze was cool, crisp and Kahleena lifted her chin, feeling the way it caressed Okalinath’s form as if it were her own.

The young gold hissed - her eyes were alive with lust and the heat of an intense challenge, her wings flared wide to control the flow of air and her youthful body through the very sky itself. Her lips pulled back in a snarl of disdain as a bronze made a pre-emptive strike, aiming to capture the gold who believed herself unobtainable. Her maw was still coloured a sickly green with the ichor of the creature she had slaughtered, and her body trembled with need as she shot through a cloud. The cool wetness was a shock to her heated skin, and she snarled out as she burst from the other side, shrieking a hiss of disdain as she almost crashed bodily into an intelligent blue, almost giving herself whiplash as she dropped under him and then shot up the other side, well out of grasp.

The swift move was unfocused, and the young queen was new to the game of flights and chases, and her energy was flagging as she lead those blue and brown and bronzes further into the sky, aiming for the very stars themselves. Her mind was not ready for capture yet – there was so much more sky to wing through, and the pack was still thick and heavy with dragons willing to prove how worthy they were! But her body was reaching the limit of her ability to remain aloft, and as she spun away from an eager brown, Okalinath was snatched by a clever bronze.

A furious hiss ripped from her lips, Okalianth displeased by the undesired – and in her opinion – early capture. However, he was sure, and strong, and she relented into his secure grasp and strong hold, letting the bronze carry them back to the safety of the ground as they toppled through the sky. Kahleena’s arms twined around her winner’s neck, inhabitation's forgotten as the lust and desire flowed from Okalinath to fuel her own wants, lips warm and eager.

I was gunna carry it another round, but they had other ideas lol. Enjoy xD

The wind rushed past his golden bronze hide as he pushed himself higher and higher, chasing the golden beauty who teased and taunted him and every other worthless dragon that thought to chase and catch HIS queen. With every flap of her wings, every flick of her tail as she changed direction, Torath grew more lust filled, more determined that she would indeed be his and no other's. He had competition to be sure, but Torath completely dismissed any and all blues, they were barely worthy of greens, never a gold. There were browns and other bronze dragons however, although browns were always able to catch a gold, he knew those brown dragons chasing, knew that he could easily outfly them. He beat his wings strong and steady, being sure not to tire himself to soon, eyes swirling with the lust that washed over him and nearly knocked N'kal on his ass as he stumbled his way from one hut to another, always the thought of a beautiful gold dragon...no..a beautiful young girl, a girl he barely knew but a girl he wanted with every fiber of his being.

Through Torath he felt the cool rush of mist as he shot through clouds high above the weyr, practically playing when he was supposed to be winning this insane flight he had been dragged into. He barrel rolled through the clouds, bugling as he burst through the otherside of the clouds, a few dragon lengths above Okalinath, roaring with rage almost instantly as he caught sight of a blue nearly slamming into her in some crazy attempt to outfly her, luckily she was agile and alert enough to tuck her wings and dip beneath him just in time. Foolish blue beast!! Be gone!, he snarled out at the dragon before gliding away and continuing the chase, forgetting the blue just that easily. On the ground below N'kal had found Kahleena, so scared and unsure, surrounded by riders of both blue, brown, and bronze, though several he saw were already leaving to lick their wounds as they were rejected by the gold above. It served them right, none deserved a golden beauty such as her, none but a bronze and his rider. This rider. He felt Torath's rage boil through him and his eyes found the rider of the offending blue dragon, grabbed him by the back of his tunic and with a sound something close to a growl and flung him away from the young girl with little effort, turning to aim a kick at the riders retreating backside.

Turning his lust filled gaze back to the little golden girl..he shook his head slightly. No..she was a woman, and she would be his woman this night. He hovered close to her, lust coursing through him continually as Torath swooped through the air letting his rider feel all his lust as he let out a triumphant roar when Okalinath darted aside, thwarting a brown who thought to claim her early. Torath let out a snarl in the direction of the rejected brown but then dismissed him as he watched her soar, a feeling of victory swelled within his as her actions to get away from the brown had put him in the perfect position to dive and snatch her from the cool night sky. His roar reverberated through the sky as he claimed his angry and hissing Okalinath. He could tell she was unhappy with her capture but he would make sure she was happy with him, they would soar through the night and soon the weyr would rejoice with the hatching of their children, strong, healthy dragons who would help their weyr grow.

N'kal, completely lost in the lust of his dragon as he was, was still shocked when he wrapped himself around Kahleena's dragon. He had not realized that he himself had wrapped his own arms around the girl, lifted her easily in one arm and crushed his mouth to hers before moving them both inside out of sight and reach of those unworthy of her. Somewhere in the back of his mind he felt, he knew, he was unworthy too, however for this night, this one time she would be his, Okalinath would be Torath's. Just this one time.
