What a nightmare.

A'liran threw himself into the bath house, heart slamming in his chest as he shut the door behind him. Those fuckers would never find him in here! He was trembling all over from exertion, his lung burning and his hands shaking. They were coming! Searching for him! They wanted to snatch him and claim him as their own! Too bad they were too fucking stupid! They would never see past his clever trick, now would they!

The greenrider laughed as he took off down the hall, not bothering to stop and catch his breath. There was no time! Astoreth was still screeching in the sky, which meant hungry eyes were still searching for him! Of course, A'liran had no idea what he would do if he did actually escape them, but that was a problem for the future. For now, he needed to keep moving! Astoreth was flying! A'liran was flying! He couldn't just stop!

He made his way through the main chamber and located an empty bathing room. He could sense prying eyes watching him, for the main chamber wasn't completely unoccupied, but they were fellow greenriders so fuck them. He ducked inside, thinking himself clever, and swiftly closed the door.

Now what? He suddenly realized he'd penned himself in. He could climb the walls over this!

He started to pace. He could feel the wind on his face, see the stars glinting above him...was that a blaze of blue he saw out of the corner of his left eye? He panted for breath, throat burning. He'd been flying for so long! He and Astoreth were strong today! Had they ever flown so long?

As lean and healthy as he was, A'liran was tired. He knelt on the floor to catch his breath and hung his head. That one moment of weakness was all it took.  He twitched and hissed as he suddenly felt strong claws latching on to him. "Astoreth!" he cried, his voice echoing against the water and stone walls as he flailed onto his side, falling to the floor as she fell from the sky.

Shards, but he was alone! Suddenly desperate, he grabbed the front of his pants pushed them down. "Shards!" he screamed as he grasped himself. Fine; if he had no flight winner, he would just take care of the problem himself!

Of course, he thought himself clever, but he still wanted his flight winner...and he was foolish to assume that his flight winner would not find him. He was so preoccupied that he didn't even hear the footsteps.

Z'ia loved it when Aveleth's favourites flew. The young man alone was more than lusty enough to help prompt his dragon into flying when he felt the need for a special type of tumble, even if it usually resulted in 'loser sex' with some random that he picked up (or, more regularly because of his diminutive height, picked him up). But he didn't really mind that; Aveleth just wasn't a very lusty dragon. Maybe someday he'd go find that Master Healer brat and see if he had some herbs he could feed his dragon. Aveleth with a sudden kick of raw lust would be great. So long as some green slut flew that day. It would be interesting if nothing did!

But that was neither here nor there as Z'ia pelted across the Weyr with a feral grin twisting his lips and the glint of dragonfed lust colouring dark green eyes. Aveleth had been filled with that single, twitching determination that settled over the creature whenever one of his favourites was going to take to the skies. A bit of poking at his dragon had revealed which one it was. Lazy gossip with D'hys had confirmed earlier that neither man nor dragon were likely to take after the slutty little minx and her rider; a bonus - Aveleth had been such a snot about chasing her for the past several months! A relaxing period A'liran was about to find crushingly destroyed.

Z'ia laughed wickedly as he threw himself bodily into the bathing houses. Oh, that bitch was so his!

He could practically smell him as he dashed after the greenrider, so smug and self assured that he was alone and safe. Z'ia snickered wickedly as he trotted through the main room, lost and hazy on lust but still able to pick up the random comments that were thrown at him by the bathing greens. Some of them tried to shoo him off in the wrong direction, but he knew this slut! He knew where he'd go! What he'd do! A'liran couldn't hide from him if he tried! Z'ia waved off the stupid green cunts that were going to get bombed by randy blue and brownriders at any moment (sluts!) and found the last door through which A'liran had gone.

Z'ia's breath hissed between his teeth as he felt the thrill of Aveleth capturing the green dragon, necks and tails twining as they fell from the sky. The bluerider fell against the door, pushing it open even as he stumbled into the room, eyes alighting on his prize struggling to care for himself on the floor-! Z'ia's breath hissed again and he pounced forward, grasping A'liran by both his wrists and slamming his hands above his head, pinning them down with one hand while his other took care of pants and obstacles. The open door was ignored; no one would bother them!

"Now now," He growled lowly, lips to A'liran's ear, teeth itching to bite. "Let's not be a selfish little slut!"

A'liran twisted onto his side, eyes widening in horror as his flight-winner found him. "Z'ia!" he screamed, enraged like his hissing green, as he threw his hands up to protect himself. By then, of course, it was too late. He shrieked in distress as Z'ia pinned him to the floor, already dizzy and weak as he plummeted from the sky. "Fuck you! Fuck you! Fuck you! Fuck you!" the greenrider screamed again and again, body trembling as he crumpled beneath the bluerider's insistent actions. There was nothing that could be done, and besides, the flight was over. A'liran could scream all he wanted, but in the end, he couldn't even convince himself he didn't want the bluerider.

~~~lol~~~
A'liran groaned. His entire body ached, though fortunately it was nothing like that incident with both of the motherfuckers in the gather square. He opened his eyes and glared murkily at Zia. "You done yet?" A'liran whispered angrily, speaking up even though he knew it would have been in hi best interest to lay still and quiet. Playing dead seemed to be the best way to get rid of the horrible bluerider, but A'liran's pride wouldn't take it.
He thought he was rid of this rat. He'd been so relieved when Aveleth decided not to chase last time! So why the shards had the bastard sat out one round just to reappear like the chronic disease that he was? A'liran scoffed, peeling himself away from the bluerider and sitting up.
"Fuck you, Z'ia!" A'liran said as he reached for his clothes. He could feel his left eye puffy. Was it bruised? Shards! At least he didn't feel any cracked ribs or anything like that. He supposed it could have gone much worse, but he wasn't going to let the bluerider go without at least a snark or two. He didn't expect it to be much help, but it helped A'liran feel a bit better. His pride was bruised and his independence violated. Flights were supposed to be liberating...
"Good morning, Sunshine." Z'ia purred, his lips twisting into a sneer as he watched A'liran 'wake up' from the wonderful period of dragon flight. Z'ia rather enjoyed the sensation of regaining himself following a flight, most notably if Aveleth had actually invested in the chase. Other times there wasn't really all that much to regain, since it was his own desires pressing on his blue, rather than the other way around. It was why he so deeply enjoyed the experience when Aveleth chased a favourite.
Leaving A'liran to grumble and scoff, Z'ia sprang to his feet and bounced over to the door, kicking it shut with one foot before he spun around to watch the greenrider with a crooked smirk, green eyes sparkling and focused on the lithe greenrider's body and the ripple of muscles when he moves. Such a pretty man! Z'ia's pointer finger tapped against the side of his nose as A'liran swore at him - invited him. The little bluerider was very amused that A'liran hadn't yet put together his invitations and Z'ia's response; but after what? Almost four turns? He didn't expect him to put it together any time soon. Hopefully, never!
"Let me see that," Z'ia purred sweetly, stepping right into A'liran's space and tilting his head up forcefully so the bluerider could examine his eye. A concerned expression painted the younger man's features; ever a skilled liar and master of deceit. "Poor baby," Z'ia cooed softly, turning A'liran's head gently and tilting his own. He released the greenrider's chin.
Then he threw his fist, hard, at the other eye.
I hope it's okay; B'jin kept poking his nose in :|
The blood froze in A'liran's veins when he heard the door click shut. He spun around, eyes darkening with indignation as he saw that Z'ia had not only shut them in, but was walking towards him. The little bluerider approached so quickly that A'liran had no time to escape, and instead found himself in the younger man's grip.
"Get your filthy hands off me," A'liran grumbled, mistrusting of the kind words and soft expression. He started to toss his head away and shove himself free, but once again Z'ia acted quicker.
The greenrider rocked back and let out a grunt of pain as he felt the impact of Z'ia's fist. His head throbbed and his vision swirled. He managed to maintain his footing, but only just. "You motherfucker!" A'liran barked, eyes widening as he glared at flight-winner. "I didn't even fuckin' DO anything to you, you cocksucking wher!"
Then, A'liran flung himself at Z'ia with all his might. He knew the evil little wretch was quick, but A'liran was limber as well and hoped through anticipation and sheer aggression he might be able to get a hold on him. He was going to savage that stupid cunt for all the pain he'd caused over the past four turns! There had been plenty of bickering and little blows here and there, but never had A'liran's temper flared to this degree, never had he throw himself at the bluerider with such anger and intense, sincere desire to hurt him.
Outside, Astroreth let out a sudden shriek. Usually placid after a flight, her thin body went rigid and her eyes boiled redder than the red star himself. Don't you dare! Don't you DARE hurt him! she screeched, pouring her anger at the bluerider as she slithered away from her mate. She liked Aveleth just fine, but this was inexcusable! She shrieked again, wings flaring in outrage. Aveleth, make him stop! He's hurting him again! she implored, her tone somewhere between pitiful and bloodthirsty.
Aveleth shrank back with a whimper, eyes wide open and swirling his distress as his mate suddenly came to life, shrieking at Z'ia, shrieking at him! Whimpering again, Aveleth shrank in on himself, curling up timidly and using his wings as a shield, covering his head. Z'ia! His voice was soft, barely audible especially under the unending screaming of the green. But Z'ia heard him; Z'ia always heard him. Aveleth clung mentally to his rider, terrified by the outrage and vicious fuss the green was making.
Z'ia flexed his fingers, watching as A'liran responded to the sudden attack, green eyes sparkling with amused curiosity. It was always interesting to see the play of response on the other rider's expression, in his actions. He was so open in his responses! Z'ia smiled charmingly; his expression disrupted by a yelp of surprise when A'liran threw himself at him, though it, too, soon altered. Laughter rippled from Z'ia's lips, pure and carefree in his delight.
The little bluerider had never managed to make A'liran explode so beautifully, and he laughed gleefully, delighting in the response as he grappled with the greenrider. Z'ia made no effort to fight back, instead he concentrated on voicing chiding remarks and blocking the blows the greenrider lashed out at him with, words regularly broken up by his gleeful giggling. Those attacks by A'liran that struck home, were greeted with a grunt, or a hiss. His smirk never left its home on his lips, however, even when Astoreth started shrieking in his head to leave her rider alone.
Z'ia would have taken that moment to inform her that he was the one getting beat upon, not A'liran -- but then she started in on Aveleth, and Z'ia saw red. Right hand shooting out, Z'ia's fingers closed sharp and hard around A'liran's neck. "Make her back off."
For a few moments, A'liran thought he'd won. The blue brat's laughter only provoked A'liran's anger even more, but the grunts and hisses of pain were like music to his ears. How many times had Ali groaned and whimpered under this bastard's cruel treatment? How many times had be been left battered and distressed while Z'ia bounced away, free of guilt and consequence? For once, A'liran felt like he was repaying the favor. He lashed out again and again, each blow heavier and crueler than the last, though no greater percentage of them hit. He scowled, furious...unsure if he would be able to stop.
Things came crashing down, though, as they always did. Astoreth's piercing shrieks of anger and distress only promoted A'liran's violent outburst, but suddenly, the situation reversed itself. A'liran gagged as the bluerider's hand closed around his neck, his own fingers clamping instinctively around the shorter man's wrist. The grip was agonizingly and unexpectedly tight, earning a pang of legitimate fear in A'liran and both outrage and horror in his green.
A'liran gasped and Asotreth screeched, eyes flashing yellow as she became overwhelmed with fear. He can't breathe! she wept to Aveleth, eyes flashing yellow as she started to turn in circles where she stood, silently pleading for her mate to help her. Why wouldn't he help her?!  He can't breathe! We can't breathe! We can't...!
A'liran wasn't dying, but she didn't know that. She was a dragon, unable to understand the future and distressed by the pains of the present. All she knew was that her bonded was hurt, unable to breathe, and terrified. They fed off of one another's fears, Astoreth's pitiful crying and A'liran's horror pouring into one another. A'liran struggled, then finally screamed as best he could through his constricted throat. "Baby girl! Ast, stop!"
Stop!
Astoreth didn't know what to do. A'liran's will was not strong enough to bind hers, or perhaps deep down he merely did not want to. Overcome with shock and unsure what else to do, she tore herself from the ground and vanished between. She reappeared a few moments later, far away in a secluded patch of trees that she and A'liran enjoyed, for as badly as she wanted to go to him, she knew it would only cause him pain. She creeled, lonely and distressed, and closed herself off from him as best she could. She could not bear to watch. She would rather be alone.
Her departure shocked A'liran. He twitches, eyes widening in panic as she disappeared. For a few terrifying moments, he thought she'd left him. He went limp in Z'ia's grasp and tried to stop the impending outburst, but he couldn't. He trembled and broke down into tears, his heart slamming in his chest.
Z'ia was, unashamedly, enjoying himself. It was thrilling, watching the expressions on the greenriders face with each blow that landed, the frustration when he missed, and that strange fury that seemed to be lingering behind the other emotions in his eyes; was there a fear there, too? Z'ia grinned wickedly, more than pleased with the way he was still fucking with A'liran without doing anything at all.
The hits that landed were more than worth their mark, and even as Z'ia clung viciously to A'liran's neck, demanding he call off his green beast, the bluerider knew that he was not going to be leaving the bathing houses without visible bruising littering his face. It didn't bother him, not at all. A'liran was one of his favourite flight partners, and for a reason. Unlike J'ver, who was a pretty little thing that knew his place and (additionally) had a mate with anger management issues, A'liran had no one to come to his defence - even his fellow greenriders thought he was a joke! But he was spunky, and Z'ia enjoyed the challenge, the spitfire commentary and the constant invitations.
Z'ia! Aveleth was lost, confused! He didn't know what to do! His mate had been so stressed, so angry, so fearful! He hadn't wanted to see her like that, he hadn't wanted things to go as they had! But Aveleth knew with the intuition that came from glossing over Z'ia's mind that the way things had run this time, were not so different from any other flight in which he won the beautiful green. Aveleth whimpered softly, and withdrew gently. He wanted to comfort the pretty green, but afraid of being yelled at again and further enraging Z'ia, Aveleth also flickered between, reappearing by his bonded's hut and landing gently on the roof. Sulking sadly, Aveleth curled up to mope.
Z'ia's eyes narrowed, not so much at Aveleth going off to sulk, as in response to the way A'liran's own eyes widened dramatically, the greenrider struggling anew against a grip that had been softening. Z'ia's fingers re-clenched instinctively, uninterested in allowing his companion to reinvest in the previous attacks; Z'ia's jaw was throbbing on the left side, and there was unmistakable bruising around the right eye, though it wasn't quite so bad as to actively swell. Visible damage, but nothing terrible.
Then A'liran was crying. Z'ia's own eyes opened wide as he stared at the greenrider, sitting up and shoving the babbling man away from, frowning almost comically as he did so. The tiny bluerider hadn't seen A'liran cry often, and wasn't really aware that the greenrider did so after he left the room; mostly A'liran 'cried' when Z'ia scored a blow somewhere particularly tender, tears of shock more than tears of... whatever was causing that fucking river flowing down the greenrider's face.
Z'ia gave him a good kick with both feet, pushing himself away from A'liran as much as it was intended to shove the greenrider away from himself, and climbed to his feet. The scowl was still fixed firmly in place as Z'ia poked around the room to pick up and put on his clothing, dark green gaze darting back to the bawling greenrider at intervals. "Oh, shut up!" Z'ia hissed finally, one hiccup too many interrupting the sound of sobs. The scowl on Z'ia's face was dangerous as he - clothed once more - stood over A'liran and grabbed a fist full of hair, half jerking the greenrider up. "I'll give you a real reason to cry." It wasn't an empty threat, and Z'ia knew A'liran would realise that. He glared at A'liran for a moment, fighting to meet the greenriders eyes, then growled in disgust and released the hold he had on the man's hair; to fall or claim his feet and stand up, left to him.
Z'ia didn't bother with any further words as he spun on his heel and bounced out of the room, flicking the door closed behind him and leaving A'liran alone in the bathing room.
Unless stated otherwise, Aveleth never speaks to anyone but Z'ia
