Cazan felt another pang of guilt as she realized she'd completely forgotten about N'mor. At least Mylorah had thought of it, she'd clearly been a good choice to send that letter too, even if it had been very poorly written. "I'm glad you came, I just feel like I know you a little better than the others, and you always seem to have good ideas and just... I don't know, you seem very level headed, and confident in things."
As Zoremet came in for a hug, Cazan tried to force a small smile and return it as she added, "I'm glad you all could come. Hopefully he wakes up soon to see... see you all too," she choked back a soft sob, giving Zory a tighter squeeze as she sniffled and nodded at Mylorah's suggestion. She could trust the gang of siblings for a little while at least. K'dar had tried to offer, but he was busy with the Weyrleader being poisoned as well and she'd sent him on his way.
Still, even with the promise that the siblings would keep an eye on T'ryn for her, Cazan was reluctant to leave his side. "I'll leave Lady with him, if anything happens send her for me, please." She didn't want to go eat, didn't have the appetite for it, but the thought of her mate being so disappointed if she neglected to made her sigh and pull away from the hugs so that she could shuffle off and go scrounge for some toast and fruit at least. Maybe by the time she was done there would be some more news, hopefully something good.
