743.07.12 | No Place Like Home - K'dar - 16.Jul.22

Tiberuth shifted his weight anxiously as he waited for the last straps to be fastened and tightened. N'noa had decided his hide had recovered enough for a jump between and K'dar had finally been deemed fit enough to leave. The bronzerider huffed, his voice still slightly rough and scratchy as he said, "I'm sorry for making you wait so long your most impressive and mighty bronzeness."

The dragon turned his scarred face about to give his rider a level stare. Good. Now finish up so we can get home. I have friends to visit, and you have a niece and nephew who I'm sure miss their Dardar. K'dar couldn't help but chuckle as he tightened down the last strap and scrambled up onto his dragon's back in what felt like the first time in far too long. Sure he'd cuddled his dragon as much as he could while they recovered, but it wasn't the same as riding.

He felt Tiberuth settle and adjust beneath him, idly commenting, You feel bonier. Eat more, the dragon launched himself into the sky from their borrowed ledge before allowing for any replies. Too thrilled to be back in the air, K'dar grinned and relished in the feel of the wind before responding. You too. You'll have to start eating more when we get back. Then let's go home. The beasts taste better there.

In no time at all they were through the endless cold void of between and in familiar skies over Telgar. Tiberuth let out a mighty bugling roar to announce their arrival and quickly let out a rumbling chuckle. Urudith is warning that S'far is already looking for you. K'dar shook his head and smiled. I'm sure he won't mind if I see the twins and Wes first. I'll get back to work later. With another amused rumble, Tiber adjusted his course to head to Malvayth's ledge so that K'dar would be as close to his family and a return to normalcy as possible.
