Someone has started up a betting pool at Benden for Iliyith's hatching. 34 eggs means 34 chances to win some marks...
For convenience, the eggs are all marked with numbers this time. It's an experiment the Healers are running with cooperation from Helyna and Iliyith... but it's also made betting so much more interesting!
Ideas for your bets:
What colour will hatch first / from which egg
Who impresses (at all)
Who impresses a specific colour
Which number is a colour
Which number will hatch first/last
When will the gold hatch
How many of each colour

2 marks says egg 22 is brown
1 mark says egg 5 hatches first
1 mark says egg 23 hatches last
1 mark says the first to hatch is a brown
2 marks says that the gold will hatch after the 10th egg to hatch, but before the 15th.

Z'rin isn't much of a gambler but he'll toss a few marks down, especially since his mate's dragon sired the clutch.
2 marks: Gold will hatch 7th.
